Yes, I’m sure that’s a perfectly good and valid reason to kill all those you loved and fought to protect five minutes earlier. /s
people kill their own family in the real world for the ‘word of god’
why on earth would this be any different?
throw in the fact theyre undead and have that after-death clarity
You do realize that we’re talking about elves who lived for several thousand years in the same community?
yeah devoted to the goddess that watched them all die
She watched them all die in the war of the ancients, so why is this suddenly special?
because now they’re undead and don’t have the unyielding conviction
I would hate the goddess that watched us all burn SEVERAL times,
and those that would kill for her are obviously the enemy
undeath clearly breaks most familial ties,
trying to play the logical fallacy means nothing to a corpse
Still, losing my faith wouldn’t suddenly turn me into a genocidal maniac wanting to kill everyone I ever cared about and fought to protect.
have you ever been undead?
how could you say?
and tbh its more than simply losing faith,
the literal goddess watched them all burn and be raised into undeath
those that are still devoted to her(night elves) are obviously fodder for your blades
Well, they’ve been shown to be just lost souls in that final scenario, so obviously they were being brainwashed.
Or it could just be terrible writing, but Blizzard is totally beyond that. /s
if you hate the story so much why even play?
Who me or uruk?
either really,
anyone who wants to answer
I don’t hate the story, I just think it could be better.
well everything could be better anywhere really
I can poke holes in any story it doesn’t mean its terrible writing or that that platitude is relevant in a story discussion
This game doesn’t only have the story. I play it because of the gameplay. I’ve stopped caring about the story in BfA.
but you’re here discussing the story?
I gave one comment on the weirdness of the plot. Big deal.
6 replies to me commenting on the story and your opinion of it
if you don’t care for the story maybe avoid prolonged discussions about said story?
Good idea. Bye.
