it was bottlenecked because blizzard made it that way, we could farm dvelves for guarnateed tinderbox and blizzard nerfed it to keep it scarce and rare LOL

I found out by accident, suddenly I saw the blacksmithing selling tinderboxes. 
I feel lucky. I only bought 1 tinderbox ever (6000g).
On the other end, the price of ringing deep ingots has gone up significantly. 
It needed to change as the rarity of tinderboxes despite how needed they were was outrageous.

Yes, but it was a quite drastical change. They could have doubled the droprate. With this change, they increased it by 2000%.
The way i see it they brought it back in line with the other delve reagents.

profession reagents shouldnt be held hostage by some delves in first place

I never had issues getting Tinderboxes, you could farm them easily while doing wax farming. On average id get around 5-6 per hour as well as most other reagents, the change is simply because too many complained and didnt want to look at options for farming them.
I dont play delves as I only play pvp, thats why I said I think they should not had been held hostage by delves in first place. The hours of time it took for you to farm them is time away from pvp for me doing things I dont want to spend time on instead the content I want to do which delves are not part of but no reason why professions couldnt be as we do need enchants and the like to play pvp aswell so its nice to make them ourselves.
Since this change tinderboxes are down to 300g and will continue drop from the former 9000g and we have other means of getting them aswell with other crafting mats. I imagine most welcome the change.
Only problem that is remaining is storm dust and gleaming shard rank3s for enchants. They are the main cost, if it’s price hinges at 250g+ , enchant prices won’t go down. Disenchanting talent of enchanters are not good, random rank 1-2-3 from disenchanting/gleaming shattering is keeping rank 3 enchanting materials rare and they are used for crafting %100 rank 3 enchants. Ofcourse I don’t know if devs are aiming lower or higher prices for enchants but I’m pretty sure players would like enchants being cheaper 
Tbh 250g is peanuts.
Dust and shards I can get from playing pvp and disechanting stuff eventually, so I can have profession from playing pvp. Tinderboxes will continue go down too so can just buy them form ah.
