Ofcourse they can… They can make more~ make new ones~ just like Bolvar did with Death Knights. Just like WOTLK Arthas did with Death Knights. Death Knights were Orcish souls placed into Human corpses till lore changed. Worgens were immune to curse of undeath till lore changed.
As for LF Draenei~ no… They are not just very zealoty. They are reforged as living being and should never become Death Knights. If by any miracle that would happen then they should just be Draenei~ because there is no Light Death Knight specialization.

They dont need to change history, they will let it as it is, just now, after we come back from SL, ilidan shows up and tell us he escaped from that “prison” but sargeras did too and he needs new forces, and bam, thats where tauren comes into play. Just imagine cow with wing in meta jumping her and there throwing lasers from horns instead of eyes, so majestic. Make it happen.
Seems like demon blood impacts speech, though Illidan was quite articulate

Shhh. No one will be a DH except blood elves and night elves.
Void Elves would explode, nightborne would be turned to a pool of fel.
Night Elves were the first DH iirc through Illidan, and blood elves can be DHs because they’re just more evolved night elves which also happen to have experience with fel exposure.

Just to clarify before you have a seizure, I have no horse in this race, I’m perfectly happy with my BE DH and do not wish for additional races to get it. But to make blanket statements about it being “impossible” due to personal feelings, when technically it is not, is just purposefully misleading.
It’s simple, if something is done already it can’t be changed. Only elves were trained as Demon Hunters and it can’t be changed. Blizzard can break it somehow, they are good at it. (parallel storyline with different events WoD 2.0)
Worgen and goblin DKs says hello. There’s a perfect example of things that hadn’t happened, suddenly having happened.
It’s simple, more DHs will happen if Blizzard thinks it’s a good idea whether this is unexplained retcon as with the worgen and goblins or “new generation of trainees” as with the allied race ones. So “can’t happen” is nonsense. You may say “shouldn’t happen”; that will be way more accurate.
Okay if you want to be that precise i’m changing my statement from “can’t” to “shouldn’t”. No other race should get DH as playable class. See ya.

Ok, I’m with you this far. History can’t be changes.
But what’s lorewise stopping other races to become DH now?
We didn’t have any gnome priests for example, but if I remember it right they learned from other races because they wanted to help the sick refugees from Gnomeregan. When they were introduced they felt very odd but noone questions it today, as far as i know.
So if someone not elf wants to learn how to be a demonhunter, because they want their powers, what is stopping them lorewise?
Being DH is not only about learning spells and ideology, they have horns, demon souls inside them, it can’t be achieved by learning arts of fighting.

But what is stopping other races from doing the transformation with horns, demon soul and all that jazz?
Lorewise I can imagine some warlock already into demons being the first.

Let’s say warlock to DH is like priest to Paladin, they aren’t the same. They are using the same type of magic but summoning a demon is not like being one of them.
I understand that, it’s not what I’m asking. Is my English really so bad? Or? I just want to know if there is any hinder, if for some reason no other than BE and NE are able to make the transformation/learn.
The example with warlocks was because they might want to become a DH. The idea of having a demon inside would be horrible to most, but warlocks like demons and might want to be transformed.
I don’t know how the removal of the warlock spell metamorphosis was explained in lore, if it even was explained or just a skill taken away. Anyway it can’t be such a farfetched idea.
