I love the change but if it’s going to be extended to dungeons and raids then cross faction guilds should also be a thing.

You can only fully PUG normal/heroic and clear mythic with a guild.

Little confusing why guilds are still split. I dont feel like you’re gonna be able “to play the faction whose values, aesthetic, and characters they find more compelling” like the post says if you cannot be in the guild with your buddies.

Great news I fully agree this is the right decision.
I would encourage Blizzard to reconsider the limitation on faction for LFG.
Allowing cross-faction play in random dungeons, will improve queue times for all.

This is good news but it also highlights that Blizzard had no resolution to the issue of players leaving the Alliance.

i think it is probably a deeper routed code problem which will take longer to fix rather than it being something they do not want to do.

You killed our warchiefs so the alliance would be happy
You screwed up the story so that alliance would be happy.
If you want, let’s remove the faction completely, maybe then they will be happy.

The Shadowland Campaign have maintained a development where Alliance NPCs are aiding Horde NPCs - and vice versa. Good change. Any hopes that realm transfer/faction transfter costs will be adjusted to not cost an absolute fortune for ppl wanting to switch ? i know there was mention of a bulk transfer cost earlier, but not sure what happened with that ?
