Diablo immortal made 30 mill installs

All here don’t even play diabo immortal, but i play immortal and wow in vs, i do enjoy diablo more then wow, in wow i just farm paragon for a box with recipe that never dops.

all games will get some interest when it launches, it’s when time passes and if they retain the player interest is what matters…

immortal kinda hacked the system a bit by going the free-2-play route so installs costs nothing and imo should not really count for anything either as anyone can do it at zero cost.

overwatch2 is apparently free-2-play as well… i think this is the new model we will see from blizzard going forward…

i dont personally feel it is a good thing for gaming but it is a good thing for inflating numbers. making products look like they are performing better than average.

It was laughably easy on normal, I joined a pug, half of which had no idea what they were doing, the leader, a windwalker monk had an intellect staff and healer legendary.

We wiped once, it’s literally free loot, maybe just try playing the game?

and alot of people beleive its the opposite way round and diablo is the pain while WoW is enjoyable. so why are u stating “make WoW a Diablo immortal carbon copy” at the sacrifice of those who dont enjoy DIablo immortal. if u think its so great.

Mustbe a reason u want its Systems in a completely different game. i aint buying the whole “well its cause WoWs bad”. thats a Opinon not factual im afraid and isnt hard enough to stand a argument to why We need these games to be more alike.

asmongold left, because its a P2W terribly developed game with no creativity, new features of anything of value. He quit because the only complex part of the game is the fact people are so overpowered that u physically break the fight due to the p2w features which causes problems such as half a mechanic not going off and one shotting non paying players.

the Raids of Diablo immortal are barely raids. and im sorry they really arent real raids, their one room boss fights with nothing else inside of them, with very basic mechanics realistically, the only reason half the players cant do it is because the p2w features block out f2ps massively.

allow me to actually state whats going on here.

U know Diablo immortal is a Repeative P2W predatory casino in terms of power upgrades with no real engagement.

ur hoping if a Sub based MMORPG alike WoW picked up its systems, it wouldnt be p2w and Would offer u whatever ur looking for in Diablo immortal at a More modernised approach. with proper budgets and a Drive of development to it, so ur targetting its Largest MMORPG screeching for it to adopt Diablo. so u dont have to play diablo u can just play WoW.

heres the Truth hjere.

If WoW ever did go down this path, it’d be identical to Diablo immortal. Diablo Immortal is a Cash cow blizzard are using to generate Money lol, it exists for no other reason.

Hence why Diablo 4 With a Sub and box price tied to it is currently in development. Why would they drop TWO DIABLO MMORPGS lol, When u reliese, ur paying for Diablo 4s Cash cow for development and that everything to do with diablo immortal update wise will be cut on the introduction of Diablo 4. the better.

its a Terrible game. and Its Just a Rehashed Diablo 3 with worse systems. im sorry but its the truth.

One of the reasons why Diablo Immortal is successful is that it’s not WoW.

Diablo immortal isnt Successful.

Its built to simply rip as much moneyt as possible out of players beneath the illusion lifts. OP just seems to be currently under the illusion. that spamming Elder rifts a £20 a Pop for a “grind” is good gameplay.

all u do is Auto attack monsters lol, theres barely anything complex or engaging to the game really, its Primarily brain dead Lmfao, theres a video of Rich 1 shotting everyone cause he walked in spent 15k in cash instantly and just starting nuking everything including players lmao.

Hes just there p*ssing himself laughing randomly pressing rubbish on the screen and this dude honestly thinks a Raid is what made Asmon quit lol

game has a 0.2 rating by almost every gaming company in the world, and the OPs trying to say its good lol, its pretty obvious the majority dont.

Ah Diablo immortal, I’m one of those people that installed it because Diablo. Played for 2 hours and uninstalled. Too bland and simplistic.

Success isn’t measured by how good a game is, but how much money it makes relative to its budget.

Diablo Immortal made $100 million in like a month. How much do you think the game cost? And how much more is it going to make as they develop it more, add more content and monetization strategies?

The game is successful.

It’s high time gamers realized under the current global economic system, success and quality have nothing to do with each other. Great games can become successful of course, but mediocre or even downright bad ones can also become quite successful.

And it is incredibly dishonest to downplay a game’s success based solely on how bad it is. Because the two aren’t linked. As long as money is all that matters, as long as we live in a materialist world, games like Diablo Immortal will thrive and be successful.

This guy is a troll, dont feed him.

And u have to pay a lot on top of that xd

That games success is built on the backs of feeding gambling addictions, any level of dishonesty is above what that games doing.

I feel more sorry for the OP though, as he is likely one of those with a illness in which diablo immortal is rinsing him with.

Every considered wow is a pain because of your approach to it?

Normal person: Farming paragons isn’t fun, I don’t do it.
Achivs: REEEEE 16 paragons I hate this game yet I keep doing stuff I hate because I have to get all the achivement points.

I mean, just lol.

The queues for higher level dungeons were awful as were the bugs like dying because you couldn’t attack… and disconnects.

It really wasn’t that good, and def not worth spending any $ on.

Diablo Immortal is not a game. Its a money grab. If even fraction of the revenue it brings goes for WoW its totally fine and serves its purpose. :imp:

What fun you talking about?

Most power comes from gem resonance which you cant have it without paying 4-5 digits? While in wow only monthly sub required.

Story is good and fun also campaign.

End game is kill mobs in open world like “insane” rep.

PvP is for whales.

Do only 4 dungeon again and again for set items.

You wont get loot upgrade even at high paragon sometimes - my level 80 paragon items better than level 130.

People farming like 5+ hours per day atleast to keep up with server.

No I play wow anyday over DI - not supporting DI anymore.

I have it installed on three different devices and still haven’t played it once. All the loot boxing drama were to much. I rather w8 for D4 instead.

Id love to see how much this game makes in a year outside of the amount made at launch.
Considering the reception and the fact that I dont know literally anyone who would play it for more than a week, id be surprised if its much, especially when people have already figured out the blatant cash grab, and start hearing the stories like that guy who put so much money into the game he cant play it and wants a refund.

What if population drops, and more people will follow because the way the game is designed will not allow them to properly play it under new circumstances ?

Had to check my pulse there for a moment, thought I was on the Diablo forums and cared. What a relief.

Im pretty sure the OP is geninuely trolling tbh lmao. But yeah weird post to make on a WoW forum.

The way mobile games work is through constant advertising to “buy” players, then monetizing them heavily. Chances are Diablo Immortal’s money flow will continue as long as the game is supported, as the monetization systems are timeless. New players will constantly flow into the game and some of them will spend tons on it.

Mobile games really don’t follow the rules of PC and console games, especially in how the competition works. So it will remain profitable for a while.

Then of course, it WILL get free expansions, which will revitalize it, the game will be getting new content, support for some time at least. It will continue printing money.

Mobile gamers are conditioned to accept blatant cashgrabs, like… they will spend money to gamble for .png files just because they have an anime girl on them. And it’s obvious no amount of bad press could hurt the game, because many mobile gamers are completely insulated from the gaming press and community. So it doesn’t matter.
