Did Blizz give up on Path of Ascension?

I’m a little worried that won’t work, since it’s vehicles that don’t get our character’s strength.

The whole PoA thing is just frustrating - best looking coloring of the kyrian set, but it’s locked behind mastering the silly content, while that isn’t necessary for the other three equals at the other covenants: night fae prime example - just build the thing to max, get the anima and you have the mogg set… but not for kyrians, no.

The achievements should be A) account wide and B) easier to get… humility ok, but it should be enough to do each boss once with one of the three souldbinds, not three times with every soulbind, especially since they are just horrible to play.

Yes, but why didn’t they realise that BEFORE they released it?

No sarc, I honestly feel that this crop of devs have forgotten what makes certain things fun.

how would you change path of ascension to be fun?

I wouldn’t. I don’t see a way for vehicle combat to be fun.

Aye. It feels like they are too much lead by ‘focus groups’, ‘statistics’ and other such things. Which is somewhat understandable for such a large company, but still… It’s at the expense of the fun and heart of the game. Which is a real shame.

Completely agree.

I’ve never liked vehicle combat. I play this game to play MY character. There’s a reason why I’ve created that character, leveled her up and kept playing her for a major part of my life.

I want to use my character’s abilities. I don’t want to play random NPCs. I don’t want to control vehicles.

so you two liked mage tower?

I did not. I’m not someone who craves difficult challenges in games.
I play to relax, have fun, immerse myself in a world or setting and experience a story.

sounds more like you wanna watch a movie than play a game. I can recommend storyteller games like life is strange, detroit become human etc.
WoW’s story is great…if you look back at it. but experiencing it in real time (with all the time gating) is a bit meager

Is it that bad ? I recently came back to my kyrian pala after few weeks at s1 and was gona give it a try . Just need to farm those damn souls

Cleared all challenges on humility with all soulbinds, however it is rather unbalanced and very frustrating from some encounters + soulbinds. Alberyn + the girl were also bugged as not sharing a health pool. I also had 80 Renown though which increases the soulbinds damage output making it easier.
I have to say though that the fact it isn’t account wide makes it really stupid. Currently grinding all the anima to get it to Max on my hunter as well just for the transmog. Totally unnecessary.

My tip is to search for a guide on youtube how to beat them on humility.

Definitely like the Mage Tower more than this.

Played those and love them yes.
But they end. WoW does not (at least… not yet).

They gave up on the mission table too.

We had a massive patch for it, but Night Fae are still above and beyond the others in terms of parallel missions. All my alts are NF for the gold and resources they can generate without even trying.

Meanwhile, Venthyr and Kyrian tables… ouch.

But yes, I gave PoA one glance, realised it starts off with a scenario that is designed for you to fail, and stopped. Why would I care about something that starts with that as first experience?

well the kyrian lore is humility and rising up to a challenge. and while there’s several reasons to dislike poa this is probably the dumbest

I mean, ouch?
