Not exactly. There are no retail accounts and classic account, the account is shared between both versions of the game, this is so people cant log on at the same time in both Classic and Retail. Back when Classic demo was available in the account list there were one Classic Demo account per every retail account and it had the same limitation, you couldnt log at the same time in Classic Demo and Retail with the same account.
