Bs, people had fun, why nerf it, leveling with quests and crap was boring to many long time players, this was perfect and now u nerf it so nobody plays it, it was totally dead, u guys are fail.

That’s where you are wrong boy because here i am who did enjoy it.
If you enjoy doing the biggest time sink even after 20+ years then go for it but people like you ruin the game for everyone else just because you don’t understand that this IS NOT classic.
I have 3 chars sitting on 40 which i’m never gonna touch again just because I’m not gonna waste 15 hours again to get bored of my life. Thanks!

If I understand correctly, in the first hours of the start of the third phase, players received a profit in the form of gold and fast leveling up to level 50 in about 6 hours, as well as their alternative characters. But now this has been fixed, and we are told that these incursions should not be the only way to level up.

Speaking of discoverers delight, I’ve been wondering if we could have the 20% movement speed increase from Blessing of Blackfathom built into it, at least from levels 1-39.

Would spare us from hanginging around Darnassus forevermore on mountless characters waiting for a buff which no longer arrives.

I am well aware it is not classic, and there should be things to discover. However, I think the “soul” of the game should not be lost, and for me discovery of new things should occur in the open world, not in a mirrored space where everyone just does circle runs.

I totally agree with you that leveling in classic took too much time, but Blizz should aim to reduce that time, which they have done by adding the level buff, which was a good idea. The “original” content should however still have a place in this game and by rewarding players with such high gold and exp like it was in the beginning or even after the first nerv, you force them to do them although there is an alternative. As a casual player who enjoys being out in the open world, having cool encounters with other players, etc I am glad incursions got nerved and I still think they bring no value to the phase.

I personally hate Incursions, tried it a coupla times solo and found it impossible, far too group-oriented and limited by crafting skill requirements.

I see what you are saying and understand your points and big+1 on the gold issue with incursion.
However…
I don’t feel like that the game has ANY kind of social aspect is true for the past 15 years now.
I played hc a few months ago when it was hyped literally had worse experience than on retail.
Disc warriors teaming up and not even inviting you for slain quests. Instead they’ll pull 10 mobs even if they die or almost do just so you won’t steal any of “their” mobs.
0 social stuff either while doing dungeons too. I literally never spoke to anyone after we formed the group.

People tend to forget that this isn’t 2004 anymore when the internet was new, the game was new, you were left alone (or not alone because you teamed up and did socialize!) with TRUE discovery.
These aren’t those times anymore and for us (like me who’s been playing the game for 17 years now) everything besides the new content just seems a big insane timesink and it is.

Sadly the whole game world is getting like this, I was trying to pick up the Syndicate Documents in Alterac before and found it impossible due to the exact same problem I had with incursions when I treid it, instant respawns. Each time I go to clear the area around said documents the mobs respawn immediately when killed, making it impossible to get to.

I’ve been on about this ever since this stupid feature was implemented.

Because they screw everyone else over who wants to do it properly.

Another reason I wont do them again. First time I tried one was with two rogues who did nothing about the instant respawns attacking me each time they went for a new mob, there was just one of them saying, “this way” all the time.

I just stopped and said get yourselves back here NOW and help me, then simply added the “this way” one to ignore and hit my HS, never to do another incursion again.
