I completely agree with this take, since it simply seems like the most logical conclusion, in particular since the Order Halls was showcased to be very faction neutral, at least between the Horde and the Alliance. It also just makes the most sense, really.
Very much this, although I can certainly see why the Silver Hand (The collective one!) would find themselves in a remarkably awkward position during BFA. If anything, it wouldn’t totally surprise me if the collective variant split completely.
At least for the Cenarion Circle, I can certainly see why most there would definitely intervene in the faction conflict. This somehow makes me feel a bit silly, since I hadn’t even considered those two. But good points!
Yeah, I certainly agree, although I would personally have assumed to speak of the “Slayer” (As vaguely as it is, of course!) as the de-facto leader, with Kayn being the more prominent leader-figure around. In general, during RP I will naturally never resort to anything besides a title/name drop here and there for the sake of canon continuity - But wouldn’t it be a point of contention to switch them around / making Kor’vas the Slayer?
In a weird way, I don’t feel we necessarily need to, since both the Slayer and Kayn can very well be the leaders, no less since we the players have no real agency over them during RP. Even if the Slayer is the top, with Kayn just below them, shouldn’t matter or change anything for us Illidari. Kor’vas in this instance, would just be a highly ranked Illidari similar to Asha, Jace and Belath.
OUUGH. Yeah my initial thought is “Haha no. Thanks Blizz!” Although I believe I vaguely heard a mention of several of them turning to Mercenary work, although that might’ve been a player’s statement, and not an NPC/Blizz.
Personally, I’ll guess some would be really split. Although, it was explicit stated that while the Legion was in defeat, there was still scattered remnants of it. It wouldn’t surprise me if some Illidari decided to continue the Hunt, while others sought to more traditional conflicts in the World. (I.E, Mercenary work, AllianceVsHorde Warfare, ect.) I’ll half-heartily presume on a logical standpoint, that the Illidari as an order would continue doing what they do best: Hunting Demons.
