Dk in pvp need buffs

No 1 takes echo talent, u can take it only against melee cleaves in some situations.

still, pallies, warriors, monks, droods can simply walk away from your CD unless you have limb but even then its not 100%.

is not secret the every body doing insane damage in a few seconds. why dk must be in this situation 2 season now? and geting “balance adjasments (nerfs)” when everything is broken!!
there are clases in pvp play deffensive LEGO and doing insane DAMAGE. no secret eihter.
we also wanna press 1 botton win a game since the meta is Lithal.

At this point, I would like to have unholy adjusted:
Refreshable necro wounds or 10% per stack with 3 stacks max.
Remove the gcd of apoc or dark trans
Increase the damage of wounds by a bit more(15%, 25%would be the sweet spot)
And maybe we’ll see more dks on ladder.
What bothers me right now is the fact that you cannot have uptime on more targets with wounds, just like other ms effects.

Make apoc burst 6 wounds so we will have good ST nuke every ~25 seconds.

I would like to play unholyplay or shadowcleave, and aoe wounds would iust make the comp viable, since you’ll rot all.

Not a meta comp, but def can work. Just damp ppl to win.
The wound changes can be pvp only, I don’t care, but right now with 247 pvp ilvl i’m hitting ~2k crit/wound with bursting sores talent which is super sad.

Other idea would be to buff superstain leggo, and add dispell protection to virulent pvp talent and we could play just like aff locks.

And we could just have 2 ways of playing unholy. Simple as that, but unfort nobody eeads this so is pointless

Do you dk’s even play the game? There are so many legendaries out there that boosts your performance.

As frost you either go to Koltira or Chain of Absolute Zero. For defensive try out Death’s Certainty, pair it with Insatiable Appetite, more healing from your Death Strike eventually helps survival. It is really good against hard hitting hunters as their pet is near you most of the time.

As for the Unholy you have alot of choices: Dark Monstrosity, really amazing for spiky dmg fitting to meta or you can play more rotting playstyle with Superstrain. More defensive legendaries are : Death’s Certainty for Unholy paired with Embrace of Death Conduit. Do you know how hard your Death Coil’s can hit for? Good against hunters, mages, that usually snares, root your minion and you can’t get into the killrange. Also i want to add Death’s Embrace here against spellcleaves.

Go and try out, there’s no legendary in pvp that is ‘‘Set in stone’’

I like being underdog. You can mostly expect buffs not nerfs.
Also I love when two melee jump me and the absolute zero and chillstreak combo makes them run away for their lives.

Don’t give advice when your pants are full off excrement.

There’s only 1 viable option and it’s pet related.

I am thinking about changing DK in following way:
-Frost-

  • Remove chill streak. Dumb spell that has nothing to do with class fantasy
  • Buff obliterate. It should hit hard even without Pillar/killing machine procs. It already costs 2 runes, it should do something on its own. Id say remove crit from killing machine (and make crit actual stat for fDK) but in return buff the base obliterate damage by a lot. Which means procs will just give it magical damage to bypass armor but it will hard overall.
  • Removal of chill streak allows DK to get buffed somewhere else. My suggestion is to heavily buff remoreseless winter. Buff its damage and let it stack an effect, lets call it Deathchill. People with this debuff have healing taken reduced by 2% per stack and take 2% more damage from DK, lasts 5 seconds. Stacks 10 times. This way being near frost DK during this ability will hurt.

-Unholy-

  • Gargoyle baseline. Thats a must.
  • Since wound mechanic is a PvE thing and complete trash for pvp add a new pvp talent: Plague Strike. Replaces Festering Strike. Applies a dot that acts like target has max amount of wounds but isnt removed, so your SS will hit for full value on target with that dot.

Overall changes: Make Death Strike use runes instead of runic power. Maybe even bring the old 3 rune type system.

Really hope they give dks some major dmg buffs 9.1.5 , feels bad beeing outdmg by every class.

I don’t think dk’s get out dmg by every class, dks’ just don’t have 40k burst going in for 0,4 seconds

A rework outside of the 1001 globals for unholy to get going or a work away from chillstreak would be better. Both specs are broken at the core. Wound system is horrible and outdated and chillstreak is quite possibly the most poorly designed pvp talent in the game.

They don’t want gargoyle baseline probably because of PvE. PvE aspect holds us back for sure.

They have with chill streak but the problem is that there are a lot of comps, like hunters, priests, druids, warlocks that can always deny you chill streak and you end up doing 0 damage and having 0 kill potential.

Add in:
Warriors spell reflect
Shamans grounding
Mages Blink
Rogues cloak

There are 3 dk’s between 2400 and 2500 in 2’s , i think they’re fine :clown_face:
