Its like every class, you can pretty much dumb them all down to just a few buttons if you want…although it sounds like a boring way to play to me.
Personally I love this new talent system and how much you can change things up. I have several BM hunters and the talents are different on all of them. For example with a Dark Ranger you can go for Wailing Arrow, Death Chakram and a more poison effect build, for a gnome/goblin you can throw all the traps and gadgets in there.
Ive just finished leveling an orc hunter who has Stampede, Dire Beast and Call of the Wild meaning you can RP as a true Beast Master and really concentrate on pets.
Hehe it is kind of a meme yes. But if we are real for a sec, then no it’s not a 3 btn class.
I think most classes have about:
3-4 “normal attack spells”
2-3 “minor CD spells”
2 “major CD spells”
And playing Hunter is the same way. Unless you talk about Beast Master Hunter, which literally have a 3 btn rotation.
What a lot of people leave out though, is that Hunter has A LOT of utility on the side they use, in form of traps, pet utility, disengage, and other various tools. Hunter is probably one of the classes with the most utility.
I think the “3 btn Hunter” meme originated because their pets aggro everything in solo PvE, so you can literally play Hunter while ignoring all the utility and what not, and still kill mobs. This is also why people say “Hunter is the easiest class in the game for beginners”.
However if we talk about “higher end content”, then Hunter is not the easiest class in the game.
Hunter has a high skill cap, while also being super easy for casual content. Which is why people always argue about whether Hunter is “easy” or “hard” to play. Reality is that you NEED to love “class utility” to be good at playing Hunter at a high level.
Recommendate on me, that the class has few buttons. I love this, for it allows me relaxation and the joy. Too many button is the way to get confusion and annoyance, error. If I can have success guarantee, I choose this.
Level 20 is the best level because of the strantgh you have, you can be very strong in the face of the enemy. You do not have many spell yet and can avoid most spells that are force on your bar. Now I know, now I am a smart player. Now I am aware that you can remove them off the bar and it is like they never made you use them.
i may come strange to you but there are ppl who like to play a class that give them the possibillity to set up the talents in a way they have only a few active buttons and lots of passive talents and hunter is the best class to do just that.
