well normal as far as normal goes lol

in the sense i felt good enough to wake up and do my daily things without second guessing it because i was too tired.

Edit:im still not fully doing my cardio the same as i was before hand ā€¦

but my actual bodyweight training is now back to a a higher level than it was before hand.

EDIT: the mixer at work broke down last week and i had to manually transfer all the mixed from bowl to bowl by handā€¦ i was watching people do it and they were struggling massively so i said iā€™d do itā€¦

they said they dont think they seen anyone in the ten years they worked there make it look so easy. lol

so i dunno maybe it did do something to my strength i just didnt feel any different.

I was also thinking about trying it out.

Yet i donā€™t have enough time to commit enough training to it at the moment.

Only thing i take is whey protein isolate.

i think it is more of a cosmetic thing creatineā€¦

if u feel u have enough energy to do what u need to do without i would recommend sticking to thatā€¦

but if u wanna go to the beach and turn headsā€¦ maybe use it lol ā€¦ unless you already look good without it ofcā€¦

i didnt wanna get to a age where i stuggle and look back and think i wonder what it would be likeā€¦

that is what inspired me to get off my butt and get in shape.

iā€™ll never be in the peak shape i could of been ten years ago ā€¦ but i can get as good as i can :stuck_out_tongue:

strength never fades after all.

the bonus is my peak shape now is still better than most people 10 - 15 years younger than me so it doesnt matter.

I think we discussed it a little bit before.
I mostly see rather thin/normal sized people in Sweden.

But at the 24/7 chain gym thereā€™s a lot of mixed people. Half of them trying to lose weight. The rest are pretty average apart from some beefcakes now and then

At the power lifting gym itā€™s a LOT different. My 95+kg body is rather normal
Compared to the big boys that compete in the 3 big lifts, I feel tiny

And of course Iā€™m happy for you mate, donā€™t want to come off as anything but happy

Oh and have I already tried to recruit you to the gym/disco and/or beach/wrestling bbq parties?

people here vary in weightā€¦ but then the ones which look relatively healthy are generally pretty unhealthy and cannot run , or lift or do just about anything i guess they are just genetically built to look healthy but not be healthy.

there is a big difference to looking healthy and being healthy in my opinion.

and most people go for looks.

Same with some of the bigger guys. They focus on gaining mass and strength but far too many forget about cardio. Or they just donā€™t want to rather.
Their choice.

About 2 years ago I decided to give up on gaining mass but still try to get stronger. And focus more on cardio like running (outdoor mostly) and spinning bike at gym.
Apart from a little ā€œsidetrackā€ up to 105kg+ I felt a big difference.
So yes, no matter what happens in the future, age, smaller body, weaker strength, cardio is very important to me.

i am the same ā€¦

i am trying to stay around 75 - 80 ā€¦ but maintain the same strength i had at 120ā€¦

it is working out as wellā€¦

Cardio is always first for me ā€¦ a healthy strong heart makes a stronger person in my view.

i have ran over the last 3 years well over 5000 miles in totalā€¦

i havent fully tested myself, but i can nearly lift double my body weight.

EDIT iā€™ve also started to do a bit of calisthenicsā€¦ nothing amazing ofcā€¦ but it helps me with control and balance ā€¦

last year i could not even do a single pullup ā€¦ now i do 100 a day.

EDIT2: was watching a beat me in pushups video on youtube the other dayā€¦

the target was set at 55ā€¦ and only 1 person managed to beat it out of all the people that triedā€¦ so i gave it a go here to see if i could beat itā€¦ i managed to do 75 without gaps and proper formā€¦

it made me realise just how few people do actually look after themselves .

I donā€™t really work out, and still a low and solid 70kg with only a bit of stomach (which doesnā€™t get bigger however).

I decided with the old classmates once to do a bit of workout at our hostelā€¦ in the end, we did it once and never bothered after, sleeping in the afternoons was much more pleasant.

I did take some cardio training lessons however over the course of my 5 years there. With a generally unpleasant cuisine at the hostel, it was easy to keep our weight in check, as well as body - matter of fact, I was one of the very few ppl who actually liked PE lessons or anything similar.

But mostly because of games. Especially volleyball and football - one of the chicks could kick the balls like no one else in fact :sweat_smile: thank god she never targeted mine.
