Nor really. Perfectionism is not a disorder, while you also can be obsessive in a way, I don’t think you have the uncontrollable compulsion to repeat the same activity for example. You can definitely snap out of it.
i guess so as i am only a perfectionist towards certain things…
other things i am just not bothered…
i guess OCD is more a compulsion towards everything?
EDIT: the conversation started because my friend is OCD… but i am perfectionist and we wondered which is the worse hand.

Well, the name of it kind of describes it very well… obsessive compulsive disorder… Can be different for everyone and have various severity. You could be e.g. stuck checking if you locked your door multiple times (esp. the same number of times) before you leave.
