Convenant seems to be throwing a spanner in multi speccing tho
20% DPS difference between a necrolords arcane mage and any other type… unless this is made identical for all other speccs. Not going necrolords will never make swapping arcane be a DPS increase regardless
I hear there’s a power gap between ele and enhancement using primordial wave too… and the 1 week lock out on conduits is a big yikes for multi speccing
This maybe one of those expansions where just going 120% into 1 specific specc may work out better for you, unless your upholding multiples of the classes to fill the other roles.
well it really depends on approach, alot of people tend to be fine playing 1 specc and only 1 specc… alot of people seem to souly do this already even if the game doesnt encourage it.
the drama will happen if they Shift the meta or the Meta between M+ and Raiding are too far different.
i mean if Arcane mage remains a top performer… and performs well in M+ I dont think mages are gonna get to angry the ones who dont wanna play arcane will have already Moved… but if frost is the BiS for M+ it’ll really mess the class over making it choose between the 2…
that and blizzard had a tendency to flip classes like mage throughout its specc continously throughout a expansion… which will cause later problems.
