Do you watch WoW content creators?

Oh I just rememberd I used to watch Hobbs too because he always did those AOE gold farming videos. Helped me grind epic flying in tbc! :upside_down_face:

But I think he quit(?) not sure.

Same, I only stay tuned for the PTR updates and raid test from him and Preach, most of their other content is terrible imo. I don’t need someone to tell me what I should be outraged about

On his Pally in SM.
Wow that’s a throw back!

Well you are smart enough not to be baited into it but some people aren’t those with a sheep mentality.

Rarely.

I watch the Method stream right now for the mythic raid race, and I sometimes watch resto or bear druid streams (M+) to learn something new or just to see how they play, but that’s pretty much it.

I only very occasionally watch WoW videos, and then it’s only for a boss fight (or recently the Visions) to get an idea what’s going on before I face it. I do not watch “opinion pieces”, chit-chat, interviews, or hype pieces.

Zero reason. Wowhead will do.

Basically I watch T&E and SoulSoBreezy. I do watch Bellular, but I’ve turned notifications off for his channel. There’s too much he creates that doesn’t interest me (seriously; who wants someone to repeat what happened with WoW from launch all the way to now? I don’t get it… I was there; I don’t need to be told what was in patch 1.3 thank you very much… anyway, mini rant over) and I’m starting to get annoyed with him claiming he ‘brings the WoW news’, but just can’t help pushing his personal agenda all the frickin’ time.

Besides those I don’t regularly watch any other WoW stuff. There’s some who put out okay content, but I just can’t stand the voice of and there’s some who just put out content that I don’t care about and I basically disagree on almost every standpoint they take (Preach is such a person); we just see gaming completely different.

No, I find it boring.

Rather just play the game and read potential spoilers at my own leisure.

Do you have to watch all of them? Industry report isn’t WoW related nor do every WoW video has to be watched (like his patch history series).

Content creator has to pay bills. Especially when the video takes time of few people to make. Like every content creator that releases videos on a regular and quick schedule for long periods of time will need funding to do so.

Hm… Preach focuses on high end endgame of WoW. Asmon don’t really makes videos aside of third party stream clips while Bellular puts general overviews and analysis of game elements. If you don’t agree with their opinion it doesn’t mean it’s whining or bullcrap

I watch them on youtube and streams when I need to update me on pve content or want to watch how high ranked pvp players use their characters.

It’s like sports for me, the second I don’t do it myself my interest drops drastically.

Forever ever?

I can’t,… ROFL…that actually made me laugh :joy:

You can always spot the ones that sat at the front, in class.

Occasionally watch, to keep up to date

Occasionally watch, to be entertained.

I would rather watch paint dry.

I genuinely can’t watch Taliesiin and Evital, it’s the most cringe thing ever, I think the girl is ok but the guy… how can anyone stand watching him reference things in that patronising, kids TV voice? And why does he wear a suit jacket in every video?

They complain too much for my taste and go on for very long with something that could have been said concise, that’s what I mean with my limited English. Not their opinions.

I watch some. Generally when I commute to and from work (chuu-chuu train!).

I tend to only watch segments. For example, if I watch T&A I’ll usually skip all the mundane information. Same with SoulSoBreezy, Kelani, or whoever also does these daily/weekly WoW news coverage. I get it from so many places already that it’s too much.
I mostly just want the opinion-based stuff. Likewise with Preach. Don’t care about his random chit chat, but if he has an opinion about WoW design, then I’ll listen.
So I’m picky like that.

Pyromancer is probably my favorite content creator right now (would be better if he wouldn’t beg so much for likes and subscriptions…). I like him because he delivers on what he does: Story and Lore speculation. He goes all out with that, and forms some original theories and ideas, and I like that.

There are also some that I don’t watch and go out of my way to avoid watching. Belullar has sort of become the sober nephew to Heelsvsbabyface. They both have that critical-angle-with-clickbait-and-sensationalism-over-petty-things-and-constant-video-uploads approach. Belullar just doesn’t act like a drunk monkey in his videos. But regardless, I despise it.

I like Automatic Jak, because he is calm and relaxed and amazing at covering healing Priest gameplay and strategy. Always watch his videos, and think any Priest should.

Mostly they tend to float in and out a bit. Right now Method have snuck in a lot with all their patch and raid and world first videos.

So yeah, I watch some, but it varies who and when. :yum:

Used to before they all fell to the darkside of misleading titles

No. 10 char.

I used to watch T&E but can’t stand them anymore with all the ego, justifications for blizz and reused jokes. I just hope Evitel is ok because Taliesin seems like a he has a sociopath or psychopath hidden behind his persona.

I sometimes watch Bellular and like that he isn’t sugarcoating.

Hazelnutty seems like a cool person, but only saw a few videos so I don’t know a full picture.

I watched TradeChat long time ago and really liked it, but the channel started to be so chaotic and she forced some new things that didn’t get popular.

i liked pyro… till i saw him screech like an infantile sperg at blizzcon

now i cant unsee or unhear it

:joy: pilav just trashtalks everyone & everything, in fact he hits the reason you dont like Bellular perfect except that he doesnt vommit 3 videos a day

Pilav also has an inflated ego … your opinions dont make sense to me

I stopped watching em long ago, too boring for my taste

Who?
