I think its more for “paperwork bureaucracy - red tape”. Even in work(at least my field), you can clearly see X is better than Y and any person who has lick of sense will also see it. Still you need to do an almost pointless examination to “prove it on papers”.

It’s only the fluff posts, never the stuff that matters.
I like to think that they gather information from all of their platforms on some manner and that people read and participate on the forums just like I would open site for news on mobile phone while waiting something etc, it is Imo more likely that they do than that none wouldnt. Anyways, this is the platform to express thanks or displeasement or just talk of some topic in general so almost any number of topics are good and its likely that information is gathered to be analyzed from it in some manner and word spreads from ppl just looking stuff as individuals etc
