Does Blizzard games support Windows 11?

Do not worry they will be suported once it is out. If you do not like Win 11 you can always go for mac or linux it is not a big deal, I hated Vista back in the day as it was thrash so i had linux.

Always thought they were stopping at Windows 10 - then again, Bill Gates has a slightly expensive divorce case to pay for now :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

W11 is just a W10 Feature Update where one of the new Features is a change of name.

Apprently that was a rumor that was spread, They never actually said it themselves. One of their quotes got misunderstood according to them. I thought the same thing tbh.

I think they’ll back track on this, very few consumer. small busniness PCs will have a TPM.

Microsoft make most of their money from volume licenses from businesses, and OEMs for Windows; very few people upgrade their OS so that’s why they now make Windows a free upgrade. It’s better to sacrifice a negligible amount of profit to make sure consumers PCs are patched and and dont become part of a bot net.

I’d be checking into why it crashes rather than disabling it. I have disabled as much Cortana as possible so I’m not worried about a background service that does very little.

No you need to switch to linux

I ran a repair on the app and it turned it back on again, but after I turned it all off and restarted it stopped doing it, so I think the app was corrupted somehow.

I’m running the in-dev build of Windows 11 and although not totally stable, things seem to work a lot better in Windows 8 / 7 compatibility mode, though your mileage may vary depending on hardware. Tabbing in and out seems to cause a lot of issues, but when in the game, I’ve had next to no crashes.

Iirc, one of the major problems with Vista, was Microsoft originally providing the 64bit and 32bit installer, on the same disk…predictably, a lot of 32bit users, thought the 64bit version must be heaps better and so installed it on incompatible machines…not a good idea.

I have a rule of thumb for new Windows and Mac OS releases…I wait for the publication of the relevant ‘Missing Manual’…by which time, mostly the OS bugs and third party software compatibility issues have been ironed out, mostly…

There you go, penguin. You’re trash talking something it’s out of your league

Could be but I guess not

The more important question is… when can we play it on ubuntu so I can leave this god forsaken phone/tablet operating system and have a basic set up again?!
