Drac'thyr look terrible

They look really really BAD

Is their “human” version only based on humans and blood elves or you can choose something different?

Yeah I don’t like them much either. Way too skinny, me like buff characters. :frowning:

just do what im doing look at them like argonians, closer resemblance

Their dragon form look kinda silly.
Atleast DHs and DKs were epic for a hero class.

Alpha or beta is not out yet so maybe judge too early? But, I agree it looks really bad. Who designed this model so bad?

they new guys they hired must all be scalies, i can picture them gathered round a table shouting about vulpera and panda supremacy and they just want time in the spotlight

honestly they should have done more dragon style like aspects are… this look like Arrakoa version something like that in Draenor WoD.

I’m assuming the actual dragon form is still in alpha customisation stages and hasn’t been iterated on massively. (sure it’s the DH/incubus but I’m hoping for more detail)
The human forms are just elves and humans, so it’s easier to throw things on them, they’ve been doing it long enough.

I reaaaally wish they had a unique skeleton… it’s just a DH ripoff at this point.

I would have liked their human forms to have been a little more unique. They look very generic looking, like many japanese mmo type figures.
I would have expected the males being more buff and the females being more curvaceous. Maybe with things the way they are for them atm they’re playing it safe

Thats my issue with it as well i think. Like i can look at pandas and say “I could play this ironicly.” i could look at vulpera and say “I could play this to troll people with UwU memes”

And then i look at DracThyr with the knowledge that somebody genuenly thought that this looks cool and epic and i’m like “Just no…wasted potential.”

I would not count on that. The Dragon form looks rather detailed and set on already. I fear we wont get any better things with that.

Honestly, if I have to pick between a Goblin and a Drac’thyr, I would always pick the dragon race instead.

Imo Goblins look horrendous in WoW.

To each their own I guess.

So did the original worgen. Things can still be added. Some DH skins were added in later builds.

I personally like their looks could be me, then again pre alpha worgen models looked hidious as well, and were improved greatly.

Regarding wanting to play big buff dragons. Well, I prefer to play a skinny magic casting dragon xD some belf players I know prefer their female characters to not to look so skinny. Etc, races are designed with one body type there isn’t much to do about that I am afraid.

And well admittedly a race class combo is something new but I can see why they would do that…

So far we have only seen dragons utilizing arcane (apart from their distinct flight abilities). So normal classes wouldn’t have worked out well. Dragons do not follow the light, nor do they follow wildgods, they despise darker magics…If nelfs can’t be warlocks why would dragons be?

They look exactly like someone that spends 24/7 on Twitter.

really hope the form will not be forced like with worgen and instead will be worked around or at least shifted away from after combat. vestige form looks too good to be forced out of it all the time.

Dragons could still be warriors, rogues, hunters and considering the hole “bond with the element” thing they seem to have going on shamans.

Imo it just stinks of lazyness to add a new race, without new skeleton, reusing demonhunter skeleton, slapping an ugly dragon model on it and then only bothering to make the animations for ONE class that doesnt even fill all roles.

Honestly looks like a really bad attempt at making a D&D Dragonborn. They really aren’t even trying anymore.
