The playerbase demanded server transfers for free, we can only hope enough do move to other servers.
But you can always agree on servers to move to together. Stormscale has a high pop and you can move there.

I’ve been on Draenor for years , why would I transfer and lose achievements??

My boyfriend is in, he’s playing with no issues aside a little lag here and there, if he DCs he’s in instantly. Im in a loop of DCs constantly, and if I finally manage to make it in, I get DCed after 5 minutes. We’re sitting literally in front of one another.

You won’t lose any achievements that matter, guy. Guild achievements are literally all worthless and can be gotten back in a day.
Such a hateful and immature response, Guild achievements are one thing and breaking up a guild is a massive task.

Your pop quatres in size within the first month of expansion launchs you would kill your server doing thism
The wow playerbase aren’t consistent enough to really lock servers anymore. As alot of you deactivate your account once expansion hype is over.
Some one my guild mates decide to leave realm, but they cannot. Character transfer option don’t work.
Then they should lock all the low pop servers and let people transfer off of there, and close down realms.
We have so many dead realms, like a ton, in which 5 people play. Why can’t they restrict the amount of realms that we have so that we can have a healthy player base spread out on a healthy amount of realms??
Oh has it already broken? Id say submit a ticket for it quickly, I think theyre leaving it open for use for a while as I think it’s open til draenor falls below a certain number. Atleast that’s what it sounds like.
It should be accessible on the characters selection screen, you open the shop then services tab.
If it’s a later stage getting timed out it may just be high demand and keep trying.
140k char does not mean 140k players.You can have 14 characters per account on a realm,so its more like 13k population,but durring expansiom launch i would go up to 18k on realms like Draenor and Silvermoon.
Also durring Legion on launch week they would lock (cant make new characters on the realm if you did not have any before launch)the two big realms.It is there last effort on top of free character.
The achievements don’t matter. Nobody looks at your achievements and goes “God he’s so cool!”. Nobody looks at your achievements at all.

They are via merging. Which is effectively combining servers.
The problem is players wanna be a high server for longevity and low servers temporarily… the queues and stuff realistically have to happen. And I do agree they should have looked at a solution far sooner then this.
And we can’t have a healthy playerbase because sadly you can buy server transfers.
Players will attempt to crowd together it’s a mmorpg… and people want the most active servers. So they naturally will bundle into one.
Blizzard cant stop human nature.
Players will keep transfering and rerolling onto these servers. And will complain the moment blizzard try to stop it

There’s been 146k chars actively played during the expansion launch on draenor.
You telling me that’s 100 multiboxers simultaniously levelling 146k chars? Stop kidding yourself there is that many accounts on there. It’s simply the fact 80% of those are inactive for 3/4s of every expansions duration.
I’m trying to leave the server and move elsewhere yet I cannot because I have empty my mailbox…I’d do that if I could actually log to empty it. The whole system is warped.
I don’t care about other people checking our achievements but you’re showing the kind of person you are throughout your responses, some of us achieved some of those achievements with friends who are now gone, stop being so damned ignorant.
Not even you look at those achievements anymore.
You can’t both cry about the queues and being unable to play and also refuse every out offered to you.

If he read numbers in BFA draenor at 26k characters… SL launch 146k.
He seems to beleive you all simultaniously opened 14 accounts to help blizzard you can use census and more and other tools to figure out server pops
