Dungeons need to be "dungeons" once again

I personally did not fall for FF style at all. I liked playing a Bard for the kek-songs, and it was really cool looking at peoples houses.
The dungeons; Not so much. I feel like the style is very flat and extreeemely linear.
I feel like WoW is better at hiding the linear feeling than FF, in most cases (not all!)

But~
I do agree that it has gone a bit overboard…
The size of dungeons right now is … quite insane.
They literally just copy-paste a chunk of the world…
I miss the places being somewhat unique, a bit “cozier”.

Like the title suggests. No, I’m not talking about difficulty or that sort of thing.

What we’re missing in the present is the true essence of a dungeon. Caverns, (seemingly) abandoned places, catacombs, castles, ruins etc. For me at least, these locations are what I’m thinking when I think of a dungeon.

Go, Go, Go and M+ killed those.
