Because blizz didn’t start adding new customisation options until BFA, after Legion.

Honestly, same. Ironically, my main is a Blood Elf which is among the most popular races, but I made her when I was in my late teens… I can’t bring myself to race change her cause of the memories. Nowadays as I’ve gotten older though. I find myself preferring the less popular options; Pandaren, Undead, Trolls and now Earthen are probably my favorite races to play as.

I think it refers to the Steelvein bit where you do all the small chores around town to get that liquid opal(?); that whole storyline is one of the prerequisites for the Earthen unlock.

Really??? wtf. Dont know it was the only quest that said it would unlock the earthen. How did you unlock it?

It was a massive long quest chain in which each one said "this quest is part of the quest to unlock:

Earthen Allied Race"

Oh if thats with earthen gear then they do look good for dwarven too and thats a good looking regular dwarf aswell

There were a bunch of side quests that were needed for the unlock in both the Isle of Dorn and the Ringing Depths. But the way you wrote your post suggested to me that there was something else that was added this week.
