Easiest:
Tank: Prot Paladin
DPS: DH
Heal: Resto Druid
Hardest:
Tank: Brew Monk
DPS: Feral Druid
Heal: Resto Sham
Annoying having to keep it up though. I agree it’s not that hard to tank but it’s the most boring tank I’ve played.

Personally :
You dont have good enough tools to work with compared to other tanks, maybe its just me but i find dk & palla tanking to be really easy, i even built a healer in tank spec outta me pally
To me any healer is easy except disc, so i don’t really have much to say
I dont dps enough to add anything to that :[
Anyways my opinions on it :
Easiest :
Tank : Pally/Dk
Healer : Anything that aint disc
Dps : Boomkin ( yes rly )
Hardest :
Tank : Monk, staying alive is fine, holding aggro is something i struggle with
Healer : Disc Priest
Dps : Sub Rogue
I dont play tank and healer. Since I avoid toxic people yell me.
I play 100% dps for all classes.
Easy DPS:
BM Hunter
DH
DK unholy
Hardest DPS:
Shadow Priest
Feral Druid
Element shaman
Wat

Normally when the s*it hits the fan, tank and healer are blamed by default.
I’ve played most classes to 120 and would say I found the following quite easy (easy doesn’t mean boring- I really enjoy all of the following):
DPS: Havoc DH, BM Hunter, Ret Paladin, Destro Lock.
Tank: Guardian Druid
Healer: MW Monk
I don’t think many specs are overly hard at the moment, but some require more practise and understanding of the spec to get better results. A bit of time reading guides and practising on dummies can often get you in the right direction. Especially if a spec has a lot of buttons- you’ll need the muscle memory to make sure you don’t misclick too often! Even easier specs have room to improve, even if its not in your rotation but more positioning and fight awareness. No point smashing the meters with an easier spec but dying to mechanics!
i can’t tank even if my life depended on it, i tried. it didn’t go well
for healers the easiest is resto shammy, the hardest disc priest
in dps i would say every melee spec is pretty easy, but i prefer dh and assassin rogue. the hardestfor me would probably be ele shammy or mage/lock (in general i have problem with casters).
i like mobility and easy self-sustain of dh.
but some of my friends hate that high mobility of dh or even ww monk and think they’re hard to play.
Because i still enjoy playing it?
What kind of question is that lmao.
Do you not enjoy eating playing games just because they don’t engage you to the fullest?
Man really thought he did something when he’s just being a neek unnecessarily.
Reminds me of a funny stream where chess GM Hikaru Nakamura was playing minesweeper for nearly 2 hours.
Can’t say i have played all specs in the game, have played 25/36 of them in recent times to a 15 level or above (not amazing, but enough to show that you grasp it somewhat i guess).
Easy and hard are very subjective things, there isn’t just a single skill that is used to play, it’s always a combination of things, but for this i will mostly be taking into consideration execution and correct use of abilities along with management of cooldowns and buffs.
Easiest
Tank=BDK
You have 100% uptime on your mitigation and it’s not something you need to think about, unlike every other tank spec.
Only thing holding BDK back is tuning, so it’s not easy to get big results, but in terms of skill required to play it, i would say it’s the easiest.
Some knowledge does go into this, like which lieutenant mobs are gripable and won’t recast.
Heal=Holy priest
Easiest healer in the game by far, and damage rotation is not something that needs to be heavily managed while healing.
Also you don’t have any utility you need to manage, you’re just a healbot.
DPS=DH or BM hunter
There are quite a few specs i could have put on here, but these 2 definitely stand out.
Both have insanely simple mashing rotations, with no management required.
Only difficulty on these, come in the form of the use of blade dance, FD, turtle, meta jump, netherwalk and so on to dodge mechanics, but overall i would say they are pretty easy.
As for the hardest specs in the game, again keep in mind i haven’t played everything, i would put.
Tank=Prot paladin
All tanks have fairly similar playstyle with 1 or 2 big defensives and then 1 small one.
BDK was a bit different because it’s small defensive was easy to maintain, Prot pala i would say is harder because it also has it’s heal to manage, which also includes the choice to heal the party.
That along with all it’s utility i would say it’s a cut above the rest in difficulty to play right.
Healer=Disc priest
Requires better knowledge of damage patterns than other healers, and has harder setups for healing.
Overall the hardest healer to execute imo, but it does not have the same utility usage required as druid, but i couldn’t justify putting druid as hardest when it’s healing rotation is how it is.
DPS=Fire Mage or outlaw rogue
Probably a controversial pick, but i looked at every single other dps spec i have played (17 others) and i could honestly say that fire mage is harder than any of them.
It just comes down to the sheer management of CDs, along with timings and not to mention that combust, while only being 10 seconds, has 2-3 times the amount of inputs required of any other spec in the game, to even remotely play correctly, along with less than 500ms decisions to execute properly.
As for outlaw rogue it is in the opposite end of difficulty. It is not hard to execute damage rotations in any way, but the mob control you have to do is something unlike any other dps spec in the game, and all the tricks you need to do in dungeons. Rogue has a large toolkit and utilizing it to it’s max is what is difficult.
To answer the question of which specs are the easiest to get big results, it’s just gonna be the meta classes pretty much.
Tank=Protection warrior
Medium difficulty to play, but it’s capabilities makes it so you get so much more out of what you put in compared to other tank specs.
Heal=Resto druid
Of the 2 meta specs, hpala and rdruid, rdruid is the easier one to play and get the good results.
DPS=DH or BM hunter
Again, both very easy to execute, and they have the best capabilities of the easy meta specs.
As for hardest to get results, it’s just gonna be the worst specs in the game, but i tend to not play those, so idk if it’s harder to do well on sub rogue or feral for example.
Jeebus Moist the difference between BM hunter and the remaining two is absolutely massive!
What the absolute fork?!
I actually find Resto Druid to be harder than Mistweaver Monk. Sure, you have mobility, but your entire group just got bursting’ed down to 10%. Where’s your tool to fix that? Mistweaver’s been keeping Renewing Mist on the whole group; 2 GCDs of Vivify and a lot of health has gone into them, meanwhile the druid’s HoTs are slowly ticking those bars back up. They might get there in another 10 seconds.
BM Hunter is easy to play at a basic level due to not many buttons, but intensive to master as you end up tracking beast cleave and frenzy stacks and trying to keep both up while not running out of focus.
Literally the only 3 specs I can really offer an opinion on
