I can’t play wsg anymore. I’ve played since the beginning of wow. Now it’s unplayable for me. So there is a problem for a lot of the players. Some people wanna have fun with pvp while listening to music, exploring with different specs and gear.
In premades there is a set spec, gear and tactics you need to follow. You also need to dedicate a set of time for it. Some people just want to log on for a round or 2.
Believe it or not, but there are many of us who enjoy playing wsg, loss or win. But to be absolutely stomped by a group with 4 hunters, 3 priests 1 druid and x classes is insane. That premade thing excludes many classes ans specs and must be completely against what blizzard would want.
People who defend premades are actively excluding classes/specs from playing the game.
If the ques were separated everyone would get what they want. Premade vs premade could give more honor and rep than pug vs pug. But in that way everyone would get what they want. Premaders could premade all day long and have their fun. And us filthy casuals would have our fun as well.

Premade vs pug is not pvp. Pug vs premade is not pvp.
If i join a premade i dont enjoy, if i go solo i dont enjoy because there is no pvp in wsg atm.

If they were no rewards, like at all for doing pvp, you would be amazed to see that nobody would queue up for a BG.

When it only takes 2-3 priests to make even the most worthless player unkillable, yes, the fact that the premades are full of incompetents does not prevent you from having an easy victory. There is no matchmaking currently, so create a premade filled with the strongest classes of the moment (spoiler, the hunter is not one of them, it’s the priest mainly, the rest doesn’t matter, except a druid to be the FC) is an easy solution for a community of toxic incompetents who do not want to play but only to feel superior to others and all rush in the quickest and simplest way possible.
So yes, apart from outdoor pvp, BGs pvp in WoW SoD is currently dead, because of this community and premades. If Blizzard doesn’t change this, Phase 2 will be exactly the same and the enjoyment of a large portion of WoW players will be ruined.
And as a reminder, in Vanilla, premades were only an exception encountered only once in 10 and even then… Almost EVERYONE registered solo. That’s the reality.

I mean, they’re not. They want quick, easy rep and honor in the future by farming pugs. That’s why they don’t want separate queues.

Getting something (small) from PvP was always a carrot for me.
On my level, I simply enjoyed getting bits of honor and tiny bits of conquest. The ultimate point was to collect each set of seasonal PvP gear.
People also premade in Heroes of the Storm, where it’s a constant nightmare as well.
(There is MMR adjustment for groups, but it ends up being a hit and miss, basically attempting to put coordinated rabbits against disorganized wolves.)
I would rather see MMR being introduced. A bit difficult as people gain gear, but anyway.
Premade participants would just climb and rabbits like me wouldn’t see them again.

where did i say something about deleting rewards from bgs? Also TBC prepatch Arena was still played despite not giving any rewards( it was insta queue at least on ally side)
No more “busy” than in Vanilla, but dead because infected by premades.

one thing Blizzard has not commented on, that makes premadefarming in WSG so big, is the exploit of marks.
to level almost instantly, u get to teh cap on marks, and delete all marks u get after that. then u restore item, and the marks are in teh mailbox.
u leave them there until 8th feb, and hand in all marks, running back and forth to the mailbox to get more.
3 marks is 1200 xp i think? its a fair bit anyway - and ofc a gold and something.
premadecampers all intend to get 40 in 30 mins.
so premades arent for pvp glory, or ranks. its for levelboosting.
to end this sillyness, blizz could hotfix it to where u get nothing for marks stored in teh mail.
