Dont think SS will help you, just go and do 2s because 3s are abit harder. You wont learn much in SS since its not designed that way. Its just throw everything you have at eachother, the team with worse healer loses.
I know 3s is harder but i play with friends. We are 3 players, so there is only the option for 3s. Only if one of us doesn’t have time, we play 2s.
And if nobody is available and I’m online i do Rated Solo. But offsets of focusing the rating, i will focus to protect my healer.

Elite gear has been worthless for 5 years. No idea why they downgraded it to 1800 soloshuffle doesn’t change anything
elite gear got handed out to people at season start at 5 server time anyway, even i got it, havent queued a single arena tho 
You absolutely know this is going to happen.
Going to have some people walking around with some insanely overinflated egos.
