I never understood this. Why cant you simply choose between all the possible rewards when you hand it in. Surely that way people are much more likely to actually bother doing them.

I hope Blizzard can address this sooner than later with Shadowlands looming this year. It makes Alliance alting very difficult especially when grinding for the cloak and reputations for BiS essences.

Yeah I got same weapon yesterday Im using right now, when I need off-hand because my dagger has juicy corruption tentacles waiting for me. 
I guess that off-hand never drops again. Since you are simple man I explain it to you that factions has nothing to do with your drop rates. Zero.
I mean its just useless 445 weapons, who would need those?
Right corruption effects on 445 items are better than 470 items that have none. Wish Blizzard would get rid of ilvl and just make every max item be marked as lvl 60 in Shadowlands. Item levels are stupid. Stats and effects and player choices should be more endorsed.

ilevel is a multiplier that is used to determine the stat values of items… just fyi.
Indeed… questing you can choose your reward, same logic should apply to the emissary and weekly chest (1 from a choice of 3).
Everything in this game is called horde bias according to some. But it does highlight how utterly horrible any RNG system is.

You can determine stat values by just comparing new piece to your current ones.
Doesn’t change the fact it’s used to calculate said stats. They can’t just “remove it”…
It does not change the fact either that Rank 3 Corruption on 445 gear is better than 475 that doesnt have it, if its a bis corruption for you.
Another 3k AP quest … For me 200 wr and 3k ap are both empty rewards and equal to me like you would work for ‘free’. It is not very lucrative and I have bundle of 440+ characters with 410 weapons… Also my survival hunter wants a ranged weapon for visions (or test if its better as BM vs SV afterall) - no… I have literally 0 reward quests on and off.
So I can log off again. Thanks RNG.

Last night got a 445 weapon from a zandalari emissary, haven’t seen a single such reward on the alliance side, instead it was what 200 resources, thanks a bunch! Only had 10k of those already, what’s another 200 there…
Why can’t they just parallel each other, can’t be that hard to code.
