Ironically, the epic mount for paladins may end up costing more than for other characters because of arcanite prices.

I donāt care either way, if it will be 1k, some of my alts will have to do without the 100% mount for a while, if it is less, good.
Gold buying is so common nowadays that they could make the 100% mount 5k and you would still see characters, that have obviously barely played the game, run around on it.
The more expensive something is the better for gold sellers.
Oh no, anyways I made my way through classic 2019 without a epic mount and I can easily do it again.

I still donāt understand what is the problem with 1K gold in SOD, it takes you around 9 Hours of Hinterland incursions and you have 1K gold.
Or you can do all the yellow/orange and some red quests in the world for easy 600 gold.
Itās realy easy.
Besides, if you rank 3 and Honored with your faction the mount will cost 800 gold.

I still dont understand what the problem with 1k gold is in normal Classic.
It is such an essential part of your character, you literally just do it in the first couple days of being 60 and be done with it. And the crazy part, as mentioned, is that you literally get it automatically while doing other important stuff in the early phase.

The price reduction mid - phase 2 was done with the sole purpose of letting those who had fallen behind catch up. There is no reason to reduce the epic mount price right off the bat. In fact, we now have way more gold on our hands than what we would normally have by level 60, so epic mounts will anyway be more accessible.
90% of ppl who plan to play p4 already have over 900g i am pretty sure.

What about players who stop play game at s3 with 200g in pocket or new players. I personally dont have more than that and dont want to farm on pvp server nothing or at all farm anything since classic is not only game I play atm. If is your choice to spend more time in classic because u dont play nothing except that is fine.
But as someone like me who plays cata, retail and remix is just stupid to be even 2h in seasonal game spending it on farming
