I don’t get how the Nelfs haven’t yet decided to “remodel” the world.
Malfurion and the Cenarion circle are supposed to be the ultimate natural guardians of the world but they seem to have become irrelevant since Legion.

I get that Magni became the planet’s chosen emissary (in BfA) but surely individuals from the Cenarion circle and Earthen ring should have been his wingmen/ women.

I’m not even responding to those troll comments anymore. I was replying to someone who wanted to kill all night elves and who has some actually anger problems minding his hateful rants on Alliance in other threads. Then two people (or alts…) come up responding for him which is strange enough already. But of course one of them is Adunakhyr. Who has been getting on my nerves since the dark skin colour discussion, is unable to force any direct response from me anymore and therefore needs to talk about me in third person in hope to trigger me once more. Too bad that the whole forum knows about his attitude by now…

The other utterly incomprehensible choice by blizzard, during Legion, Illidan doesn’t interact with Malfurion nor Tyranda… Not even once! There was always so much story interest between those 3 characters. We got nothing! Not even a “haha I told you so bro, wasn’t mad after all haha but nooo you didn’t believe me, just 'cause my horns look demonic and yours are deer like nia nia nia” (clearly I shouldn’t be responsible for writing a script).

I think that in next expansion the Night elves will rise again but also evolve. With the help of the winter queen. Maybe even, Night elf (Sort of) paladins with winter queens power which is life and death (Or with elune’s power). They be different paladins than the paladins we know. Maybe with winter queens power, they could breathe life again to the dead husk of the the world tree Teldrassil.

Also, the song the OP has attached is a song for the Azshara, I have no clue why it is used for the Night elf themes, when the lyrics of the song literally says, “Glory to Azshara, (daughter or child) of noble birth, Elune bless you.”

It’s literally not a song for Azshara.

It’s a song for the Night elf race looking at all their history and culture.

• Nordrassil (very important to night elves. Currently living there)

• Zin’ Azshari (former capital of the night elves) notice how she sings it with a sad voice.

• Quel’dorei (the high classes people) also sings it with a sad voice, as if she is sad for what they have become.

• Elune adore (Elune be with you) a phrase the night elves use during hardship and prayer.

This is why it is always played when night elves are around. This is literally their theme. It was also played during the battle of Darkshore.
