Silvermoon is a good Alliance server but do have this in mind.
Silvermoon and Draenor for example, was really laggy when Shadowlands launched. And Full servers will probably be really laggy when the next expansion launches. So I transfered to Stormscale which is a high pop server.

Horde - Tarren Mill is my home and I’ve only ever had good times there!

Should you be able to trade some start capital for me so I can start leveling on TarrenMill horde. I can trade you on alliance on both Ravencrest and Silvermoon. Man it is hard to not be able to even transmog on new server

No the last thing you want is trying to find a realm that is 50/50. You want a realm that favours your faction so that you have a good selection of guilds available to you.
Stormscale is a great server for Horde.
And how are your impressions with Stormscale realm comparing to Silvermoon so far?
I actually have no knowledge of Silvermoon, unfortunately.
I think I originally started on Doomhammer a few years ago when I first started playing but then moved to Stormacale. I have a couple of toons on Kazzak but I prefer Stormscale.
I should say that I play Horde on Stormscale. It’s pretty good. Now when Ally and Hord can play together and mail stuff to eachother I will transfer my Ally characters to Stormscale.
But Draenor (which I played on before) is the equivalent of Silvermoon for Horde and I like Stormscale more. The laggyness on a full pop server at the start of an expansion really ruins it for me.
Kazzak is like a double-edged sword. You can either fun good and funny people to play with or you would rather want to unninstall the game. From experiences, the top 15%, maybe 20% of the Kazzak playerbase is pretty chill to play with. The other part… idk, they are acting way too elitist for their skill level which brings toxicity beyond believe.
Twisting Nether is always toxic for w/e reason. Pretty sure the most amount of disbanded mythic guilds in BFA was there. Still there are some cool people.
Tarren Mill is generally fine, although people here are sometimes too greedy (especially loot) because of a more hardcore mentality thanks to Echo being in the server, everyone wants to perform here and that also brings toxicity.
Imo Draenor is chill from what i’ve seen. I don’t remember a single key with Draenor people malding over every little mistake, no clue about their raiding though.

I’d say:
Silvermoon or Ravencrest if Alliance.
Draenor or Tarren Mill if Horde.
The thing about Silvermoon and Draenor is that they can become overfull, laggy, and even experience queues at Expansion starts. If you really, really can’t stand that, choose one of the lesser realms.
Otherwise, Draenor for Horde, Silvermoon for Alliance.

Argent Dawn is fun. Lots of friendly, crazy people chatting in /2 all the time. And if that’s not crazy enough for you, I heard that you can have lots of fun in Goldshire.
