Destruction.
Things i hate:
- Low damage on chaos bolt, doesnt feel that special to cast for 2 (!) shards.
- Uninteresting incinerate cast - Filler that does nothing special. No chance to proc anything, doesn't contribute to shard generation, nothing. (artifact trait @ 5% change to generate a rift is realy low to make it worth noticing)
- AOE is poorly designed. We are not affliction warlocks to spread dots (immolate) . Fire and Brimstone is more suiting but it's a talent and it's dps is underwhelming
- Portals are too long of a cooldown, doesnt make it interesting enough.
Things i propose to change (easy implementations only to make it fast for devs):
- Increase damage on Fire and Brimstone talent so that it's viable for AOE alternative to spreading dots (immolate) and Rain of Fire casting (3 shards!)
- Make each incinerate have a 100% chance to decrease cooldown on Dimensional Rift for 2seconds and 4 seconds if crit. Makes the casting more interesting
- Make the Dimension ripper artifact trait up from 5% to 10% chance on incinerate cast to gain a charge.
This would make the 2 top problems for destruction mechanical-wise.
I love the warlock class... BUT.
Demo and destro is my favvs
All demo needs is Demonic Empowerment passive. Seriously so weird playstyle with summoning "powerful demons" then u need to cast a spell to make them useful cuz if u dont, they are no were near "powerful".
That would solve ramp up time and dps.
But if that aint gonna happen we need longer alot longer time on imps and dogs! Lol who even uses worthless dogs? Hardly an dps increase to use em.
Then theres destro. Feels like they are in a better situation and i lile how it is. BUT chaos bolt? I dont even have it on bar. Must look into the dmg on it either make a %dot after it hits for a % of dmg or just make it hit harder.
puss och kram

Fav spec demonology.
Things i dont lile about it
1. Haste: Spec is too slow right now. More importantly the less haste you have the worse the spec feels to play
2. Imps: they are simply too powerful. You lose imps you lose about 40% of your overall dps. Simple fix is to nerf the imps and buff doggies and felguard.
3. defensive everything: if we are really suppose to be the tanky caster then make us strong enough to actuaöly be able to take the hits from time to time. It might not seem like it currently but once we go in to raids. were gonna die just as quickly as a mage would. Give us a bigger shields and reduce our defensive cds

Favorite spec is Destrucion, i have notified this for pve and pvp:
-lack of interrupt (grimoire of sacrifice need to give a demon ability)
-low mobility (maybe teleport back baseline?)
-old backlash would be great
-pvp chaos bolt damage is very, very, very low
-general damage is low in pvp
-mastery RNG is too bad, need a change (flat amount of damage and mitigation)
-shadowburn need to become baseline
-"eternal struggle" is a very very bad artifact talent, need a total rework
-rain of fire is too much expansive in shard cost and cast time, for a medium damage
-shadowfury baseline would be great, istant cast
And a cosmetic desire... new model for dreadsteed please :) !
Thank you for the attention!

My favourite spec is Destruction, and some of my major problems are:
1 - Lack of flavour. The removal of burning embers, their associated mechanics and visuals, along with the verdant spheres we could have floating around us, has taken away a lot of the cool visual and thematic flair of the spec. It feels a lot more vanilla now.
2 - The new "chaotic" fantasy does not mesh well with the spec's core mechanics. Destruction was always a very slow, predictable, tactical spec, focusing on a long build period followed by a burn window within which you wanted to maximise your damage by lining things up. The problem with spec now is that it still retains this basic core gameplay loop, but the chaotic theme and its associated variance, procs, and unpredictable shard generation, are completely at odds with this slower, more tactical gameplay style. Chaos as a theme works well with fast and snappy specs like Havoc, but for Destruction it feels like it jars against everything that made the spec work so well in the past.
3 - Tankiness as a strength the devs want to double down on is not a particularly fun or useful upside for a class that already has a dedicated tanking pet, and when deadly PvE mechanics are still going to kill you regardless. As a result it feels like the class is very weak in some areas without having actual tangible, enjoyable upsides to compensate. I don't think it would be the end of the world to shore up some of the really weak points, or choose new strengths to focus on. Even just having a button to consistently press during movement (even if it did next to no damage), for example, would help Destruction feel a lot better.

Favorite spec: Destruction!
Talent System: Comparing it to most of the specs out there, I can't understand why we need to choose either ST talents or AOE talents to keep up with other classes. While they can stick with the same talents, we're forced to change to a complete AOE or ST build to keep up with other classes in those situations.
Lack of CDS: Having a baseline cooldown that was engaging has been incredibly fun for the past expansions, 30% crit to go with your chaos bolts made them feel so much stronger. Summoning a doomguard who just throws shadowbolts for 1 soul shard is the least engaging gameplay I can think of. And having to spec into 30% damage increase is just dull and boring.
Chaos Bolt: waaaaay too weak right now, 2 incinirates almost deals as much damage as a chaosbolt, which just makes chaosbolt feel like a larger incinirate. Not sure what the devs have done to the crit scaling on CB, but why on earth is Haste better than Crit for destruction warlocks? Hasn't Crit been the GOD stat for destruction warlocks for the past 7-8 years?

Demo
Things i don't like:
1.Demonic Empowerment
Suggestion: Change it into instant cast with cd on it (like old glyphed dark soul) - Buffs all active pets and future pets for duration.
Dark soul - gives 2 charges of it but reduces duration abit
Power Trip - gives 5shards when DE is used.
2.GO Synergy
Suggestion: Change it so that when warlock uses DE its mastery part affects warlock (removes rng).
3.Dreadstalkers
Suggestion: Buff dmg or give them snare or anything that makes them worth the cast.

Been playing since.. Vanilla took some breaks in between.
Going to be comparing Cataclysm Warlock and Legion.. so here it goes.
Spec: Demo
The class fantasy is all about being a Grand Warlock that summons demons to do his dirty work. And then using said demons as fuel to power spells ( IE warlock artifact power and Demonbolt.)
Sadly i feel i am buffing my pets most of the time, to have a 50% chance to get a soulshard and an instant Demonbolt. Just so i can resummon my Dreadstalkers and imps because they have allready expired. Oh my god.. i forgot Thakiels Consumption.. well i need to buff my minions again and use the free demonbolt.. and ** poof ** there go the Dreadstalkers again.... have to resummon those.. again..
I thought i was a powerful warlock, why do they go away after such a short time?
That is my leveling experience so far.
The positive note is the fact that i have a Infernal named Kindle.. he is cool.. sadly i have a flock of imps and a herd(?) of dreadstalkers requiring my constant attention, because they really..really..REALLY.. hate Azeroth. Now here is that allmighty Demonology warlock class fantasy?

Favourite spec Demonology I mostly play pve, and these are the changes i feel demonology spec and the warlock needs in general.
1. Artefac ability thal'kiel s consumption not rewarding when you have to build up demons, empower them and time it with other buffs, it should be the hardest spell in the game since you have a 45 cd plus all the buildup for it, maybe even one shot players in pvp if you really manage to build up a perfect scenario, saying this because it's highly unlikely. It should do alot more damage instead of 6% have a 10-15% of demons hp, and it should scale with mastery, least significant secondary stat in patch 7.0.3 for demonology and destruction warlocks.
2.Mastery should increase damage of pets and player without the need to empower pets will help with lack of burst.
3. Keep each spec good at a certain type of encounter, affliction should be best spec for movement encounters large aoe damage and pvp, destruction best cleave spec, sustained up to 2-3 targets , demonology best at single target dps.
Really enjoy to be able to have a spec that performs outstanding for each type of situation, the opposite of what mages are atm, don't mind upgrading all artefact weapons as long as i know that having 15 points in demo will give me a major boost in single target dps compared to having 30 points in affliction or destruction artefact weapon!(just an example)
In my opinion if you choose to play a class you should be able to play all 3(2or4) specs with high performance and a adjust to any situation.

Add port back to baseline and fix dots ramp time and all good.

Things that i feel like need to be changed:
1. Demonic Empowerment
Why is it bad? Because it forces us to a turret style gameplay. This wouldn't be such an issue, if the buff wasn't so damn important. Also the fact that shadow bolt is a stand still cast spell, highlights this issue even more. The fact that DE is so important in our rotation, but yet has to be spammed also means that demonology warlocks are extremely vulnerable to boss RNG mechanics and to top it off certain types of CC abilities cause your guardians and pets to disengage...
In addition the fact that our pets deal practically no damage without DE means that the spec has an unnecessarily high skill cap, depending of the environment.
How to fix? Several solutions, for example: DE castable on the move, DE instant cast + small CD, or the charge system we had in early beta + an increase to demonology's pets base damage or just a buff to the player that summons the demons.
2. Demonwrath
Why is it bad? Nothing major, sometimes your pets/tanks have issues in their command lines which causes them to position themselves badly for AoE. Since the pet reacts slowly (guardians don't at all) to your target switches, the aoe has yet another unnecessary skill cap elevator (due to you manually controlling your pet while doing your standard aoe rotation).
How to fix? Increase the radius of demonwrath to 12 or 15 yards.
3. Demonic Circle
Why is it bad? For 2 reasons: 1. It's not baseline anymore, and stands in a tier where it can't possibly win 2: When you pick it, you don't get the 2 buttons anymore, instead all you get is that 1 button nonsense.
How to fix? Option A/B/C will do the job; A) Make it baseline B) Separate summon and teleport C) Increases movement speed by X% for 10-15 seconds after use.
Realistically though, i think option B has to happen always for this spell to be worth anything anymore.
Also, as a closing statement because i can't hold this in anymore:
The developer who thought that summoning 3 infernals on a 10 min CD is an iconic Destruction spec artifact perk instead of Demonology, which is you know all about summoning powerfull DEMONS, deserves to be fired.

Favourite spec: Affliction
First of id like to say that i have not done much pvp yet, only what you can see in skrims and random bgs, not enough material to make a fair complaint.
things missing/would need a fix:
1)In pve on the other hand, it feels like affliction is on the worst state out of all warlocks, on single target he is by far the worst class/spec in the game, so simply tuning the numbers a bit would be helpful. While playing dungeons with affli, the fights with 3-4 targets should be your shining point, when you can keep 20 stacks of agony up on 4 targets along with all your other dots and even get a chance to drain life in the middle you SHOULD be the top dps, but currently you simply sweat your !@# off keeping track of the dots and still are in the bottom of the dps charts.
2)Drain soul needs to make a comeback, single target fights you keep all your dots on the target and effigy and just drain life the boss and do very low dps.
Buffing drain soul and removing it from the same talent section as wither in agony could help afflis single target dmg, it also adds a bit of skill on the class, you need to drain soul as much as you can while not losing track of your dots, not the hardest mechanic i know, but atleast adds some skill and excitement during the fight. Right now drain life damage is just lackluster and its not even meant to be your major damage spell i feel.
3)Affliction needs some instant aoe spell, some fights you simply lose so much dmg by casting SoC/StS and then you have to wait for it to explode aswell, by that time most classes have already bursted the mobs down.
4) Phantom singularity range is unnecassarily big, so many trash fights you dont want to pull the extra mobs so you cant use your main aoe ability, lower the range while buffing the damage or do something with it. This might even become worse in raids where you have to ignore certain mobs.
E/1 good addition for affliction warlock would be to add some sort of execute mechanic, something like the destros shadowburn(?) was.
With demo and destro you can actually pull some big numbers in boss fights when you know your class well and are geared, but with affliction its just impossible, doesent matter how good you are.

Favourate Spec: Demonology
1. I did the green fire questline but have mostly zero green fire effects ( only my demon-horse mount and fel rush are green)
2. My demons are no different than anyone else's
3. it feels like I have no big impact spells
I know mine are mostly visual annoyances but alot of other people have put together valid points so no point in repeating other posts

Destruction:
Fix Rng on shards and fix incinerate/chaosbolt - turn it back sort off as it was
if you make a class without any speed ups in legion it wont be played ( in da spellbook)
Demonic Circle back and please quickly
More HP wasnt we Tankish? in pvp you cant do without your not a mage that blink twice and has 2 frost novas and use invisibility
talent tree choices sort them together
aoe with aoe and fun with fun and single target dps with single target dps
i play 8-9 classes and one of my short conclusions is :
Warlocks have gotten all kinds of abilities just to make em sort of equals to others and they cannot stand al the ability pruning in legion like the other classes
But more importantly i only feel with warlock gameplay just stuff taken away from me and nothing in return . only talents i need to choose old stuff i already had . REALLY NOTHING NEW :(

3 Things I don't like:
1) Chaos Bolt hits for less at 110 than it did at 100, while costing twice as much resources. Shifting damage away from Immolate/Incinerate to Chaos Bolt would make the spec feel more nuke-ish
2) Incinerate is useless. At the moment on my Warlock, since I have both Immolate nodes, there is 0 reason to cast Incinerate, as Immolate does more DPS as a filler.
3) Shard generation is way too RNG on single-target. Making Dimensional Ripper grant 1 or 2 shards per cast or giving Incinerate a chance to give a shard would fix a few issues.

"fire the old guy" - he got me in a 1 week severe depression .
Grimoire of sacrifice ....... reduce the damage output and also remove the demon ability???????? really?????
Either reduce the damage output and be boring :)
But keep your hands off an ability that is fun and creative unless you are creative and give something in return that is maybe a little less rewarding and gives you reason to go for another talent option MAYBE
do that and were friends again:)
that Guy was not creative and should do other work things

So how exactly did you manage to get Blizzard's attention on the issues of your class?
So far it seems Death Knights do not exist in Blizz's eyes, except when they need to be nerfed and Frost is a forbidden word. Any help would be appreciated, thanks! :D

the talents cataclysm & channeld doomfire are being ignored by pretty much everybody they need to be looked at and cannot compete vs the other talents in there tree.
a quick fix for our aeo:
- remove rain of fire
- replace it with cataclysm cost 3 soul shard no cooldown ( plz no 2,5 sec cast )& the immolate debufs on the targets can let us have a chance on regenerating soul shards while also providing steady aeo dammage talent slot would need a replacemen and channeld doomfire needs something else

Fix the artifact on affliction.
In the tooltip it says 10% and double up on traits.
You get to 12 stacks it says 120% dmg, use Reap souls. and you get the buff with timer its only 10% dmg.
i tested it might have been a text error but no. Corruption did 5500 dmg per tick, used the Reap souls with 12 stacks should have been a 120% dmg increase, but it only bumped up to 6200 dmg per tick.
It makes Affliction abit broken compared to the other 2 specs when the artifact power is either broken or the text is showing the wrong thing.
