I think, you’re overreacting. You’d get accustomed to it sooner or later, learn what and when to expect, it’ll stop being a big issue. The dungeon sure could be designed better, but it’s not a deal-breaker even in its current state. Especially after they eliminated the need to ever go upstairs (so no more nameplates clusterfork) and you have an option to pull 50% of needed mob count from the pig boss wing to the courtyard.
…and this surprises you ??? The minute I set foot into the ED and realized it’s exactly the same format I knew it would be dead before 2 weeks were done. Seems it died faster than expected.
Aesthetically one of the nicest dungeons for me, love the wibe. The cramped hallways are cramped, but you work around it. You dont always have to play with the camera 60 feet away.
The first few times we went to WM we managed to get the upstairs mobs and those from other rooms. We’re not sure if it was Abom limb or breath or what but it made clearing some places very spicy.
Not having that awful door RNG at the start and just being able to go to the Witches is so much better. I don’t think anything can be done about the claustrophobic feeling though.
As I see it (and many PUG-friendly routes suggest currently), you start with trio and go slow and easy with your early pulls, of which there aren’t many, and then you proceed with blasting stuff up in the courtyard zone. Everything (literally everything) that is on the pig side is also getting pulled outside in droves. There, Retch frontals and that bell spell, the usual suspects, become irrelevant due to the open space available. After the pig boss, you continue and finish with careful and deliberate pulls again. And there isn’t that much left, really.
Never.
No, I didn’t say it was dead.
There’s plenty of people around when I play.
It’s just… I’m done quite quickly and then have to wait.
So I’ve basically had to start pacing myself in DF:
Not do all the WQs in one go - leave some for another day.
Do an heroic dungeon on a daily basis.
Spreading the various weeklies out.
That sort of thing. It’s not how I WANT to play, but I’m kind of forced to if I want to play on a daily basis.
We were clearing the trash before Witches when we got all the trash from upstairs and one side of the boss room In our chaotic run, the dk also pulled most of the trash from downstairs after pig boss without trying. It was a very spicy but timed run
I can’t go near some mobs because judgement splits and I end up pulling more. Not something that existed back in the day. That’s true of more than just WM though. Wasn’t an issue in the previous rotation of dungeons as much. Definitely more mob density in this lot.
But yes as always standard routes are established pretty quickly.
I started to play in SL, and the dungeon design was amazing. It was a bit worse in DF seasons, but even last season the dungeons were better and more interesting. NL from Legion was amazing, same with Vortex Pinnacle. I don’t think Waycrest is hard, it’s just… 1. Melee dungeon, 2. Way too little space, dark and feels just trashy.
Half of the dungeons are extremely dark and give up the negative feeling, also, the mechanics of the bosses are very mediocre and not interesting. WM also has so much time on a timer, they definitely should have less time for that trashy dungeon.
Customizations for druids? Why not? There is already a challenge is finding easily soloable rare spawns with everyone else in the zone competing with them just for the rep it drops.
If you mean regular loot, they can add deterministic failsafes so you can work for the gear, rather than just rely on luck.
Enjoying playing brewmaster learning more about tanking
Not anything particular, same old, same old.
don’t like the ilvl race of the first week.
Once you are behind you cannot get into groups anymore - RIO doesn’t really matter for that.
Then again I am just not very lucky with drops
I basically finished the season already for all forms of content. I like that actually though. I feel like I can just mess around now and focus better on other stuff/real life/etc.
No, I invited people with low current rio to +20ies, if I see that they were very good in season 2, or if they msg me with a plan. Someone for example msged me that he had his route figured out, and knew exactly what to do, but he was lower ilvl/rio, so I took him over 2.1k rio tank, and we +2 the 20. If you have lower rio/ilvl than others, you need to put extra effort to sell your value to the group leader.
I’m enjoying it, normally I head to Classic when I feel like chilling out, but doing the new content is chilling me out.
Due to huge ilvl increase for this season ( 490 ilvl is max for this season) difficulty on fortified dungeons is joke, doesn’t motivate you to get gear at all
tyrranical probably will be nerfed, not because it’s overtuned, but because it will be overtuned for poeple that already run 18±20+ at launch because season is being too easy
I am actually having pretty fun this season. Raid has been incredibly fun and it looks so bright, which i like. Mythic+ are so/so, if you get a nice group you ll have fun, if not its just people leaving. Came back after a long break and i am enjoying everything i do. Only thing i dont like is people looking at all the ratings for mythic+. Seems like you cant get a group if you dont make one yourself.
I dig the new area, the raid looks hopeful and I’m excited to see how this will end.
I cant such much about PvP since queuing for Solo Shuffles takes too long, I just go do different things.
Its easy for Alts to get some good enough gear as well and the new pets and mounts you can find are also nice!
since I play healer, I usually dont have to sell myself
but you are probably the minority that takes people that are now behind the curve. the next 2-3 weeks it will get worse than more alt runs will pop up I suspect. Also we can expect more nerfs i guess as well which makes it easier to farm mid keys
Previous Rio doesn’t matter on lower keys, that you have to do if you are behind/having more than one char, etc. Those people don’t even use rio addon
Oh dude, you are absolutely wrong there
