Whatever it will be, I hope Blizz won’t repeat their past mistakes and create stories or settings that are alien and far away from the old-school Azeroth fantasy setting we all know and love. No Star Wars stuff like in Legion, no alternate universe like in Shadowlands. And please no more stories in which the main characters keep teleporting around all the time to avoid to escape battle.

Also, please keep the tone humorous and not too serious. There’s enough :poop: in RL at the moment; no need for more in WoW.

I dunno say what you will about twilight but clearly Stephenie meyer is making $$$ on it so it can’t be that bad then again a lot of people have awful taste so who knows

Rather than a new expansion in two years we get a four year long expansion with a dozen (or more) content patches.
Once we sort out the Dragon Isles and whatever Big Bad there is there. The Dragon Aspects decide to aid us in repairing the damage caused by Deathwing (who should have been the Earth Warden, let’s call that a partial success) and we restore the rest of Azeroth.
A rolling sequence of patches that revamps the whole known world a few zones at a time.

Blizzard buys of Everquest and next expansion will be expedition to Norrath *the workd nsne in Everquest
Start with the basics and that game currently has 23 expansions so they get 23 years free without working for them

i’d be for that at least everquest 2 will finally get a graphic upgrade i still play it from time to time :smiley: but its really outdated now that’s sadly the downside of going for cutting edge graphics at the time but age poorly as technology gets more advanced

Considering DF is going to be very classic fantasy like, my bets are on a SPACE MARINE like expansion after this.

Quite possibly. Each expansion has been following a theme lately:

Legion was basically rebranded TBC.
Shadowlands was basically rebranded WotLK.
Dragonflight looks like a Cata/MoP sort of expansion…may as well have the next one be WoD-related.

  • Outland is Draenor in the main universe (The present day)

  • Draenor is Outland from the past 40 years

I’d totally dig a Scarlet Crusade themed expansion, or something with murlocs/wolvar/other small race peeps liked. :yum:

But from what I remember about the guessings before DF’s reveal, it might be void themed. Which would be odd considering BfA was half faction war, half old god themed and finished barely 2 years ago.

Hmm, true, I was focusing too much on Kiljaeden and Co. but yeah, I suppose it was all connected. I hated WoD so try not to remember most of it! :sweat_smile:
