and for those who refuse to use the boost, cant afford to use the boost, and has allready used the boost because the thougth of instant horde queues were a distant unrealistic dream when the boosts were introduced? you’re grasping at straws my man
nobody forced everyone to roll horde so you didnt have a que that was 1 hour long
the lack of people seeing the correlation here is baffling
racials
arent
the
problem
even if all racials were removed from BGs/Arena nobody who pvps would roll ally anyway if horde are able to play the game
best change ever thank you blizzard!
Ignore that guy. He’s a troll.
not the case if they give very Overpowered racials
I bet you 1000 gold if blizzard gives faction transfers and really OP PVP racials to all alliance races people will floc to alliance
Really appreciate the Change had a blast testing this, think all the issues that came up got addressed quickly and thoroughly.
Overall I think this benefits horde aswell as alliance players by reducing horde queue times and open world gank squads directed towards alliance players and makes for a way smoother player experience as a whole.
To those saying this would worsen faction balance I’d say this is not that much related to bg queues most people that play either horde or alliance do so because they want to.
I dont see it coming down to racials or community created advantages/disadvantages necessarily for the vast majority of players, it is however an issue but trying to solve it by crippling one aspect of the game for one faction makes very little sense as I see it, maybe at a later stage free faction change or other ways to solve this could be introduced, merging low pop alliance/horde favored servers would be another way to address it that comes to mind.
this is a lie, a straight up LIE
It’s a feedback thread, I’ve given mine you dont need to like it, you can post your own but clearly you just pick comments you dont like to attack them instead. So any kind of discussion about it with you would be pointless either way.
Have a nice day mate
sure man you to, doesnt change the fact that you are straight up lying
Pros
- Queue times went from 1h to 1min for Horde: most welcome.
Cons
-
Premade vs solo q is too frustrating and unfair.
Several players on the solo q team will go AFK immediately and the team morale is very low from the start, so even if you try your best and even if you report AFKers, your efforts don’t matter against an always fully buffed, coordinated team in voice chat. People feel taken advantage of and an outcome-driven mindset makes them urge others to just give up as fast as possible.
Longer queue times used to keep premades in check, but now it feels like 50-50. Unacceptable to me as a solo player who enjoys the random nature of BGs as they were 15 years ago.
Solution: match premades of equal size whenever possible, you now have the leeway to do so. -
Masks are funny, but they and the faction buff icon are too inconspicuous to serve as a reliable reminder that you play as the opposite faction. Maybe this just takes some time, but I had to double check and remind myself what faction I’m playing as several times and once didn’t tap a flag in AB, because I erroneously thought it was ours.
Solution: other games use team-colored cloaks, but that’s a big step.
You should post on your Horde char instead or people won’t take you seriously
Overall good and a nice change but there should be 1 thing maybe looked at. Out of 11 last AB i have entered i have faced Premades, i am not joking, this is soo terrible.
I would like to see some feature, if 5+ people from the same realm then you queue against similar 5+ from another or same realm. As an alliance the win rate is already terrible ~10%, but now when i face premades the win rate goes even more down.
Although I dont see it necessarily as gamebreaking I could absolutely get behind this. If I remember correctly a system like that was implemented in tbc which made premades face other premades preferably.
This was pretty much the horde experience before HvH implementation except that we had 1 hour ques to meet the premade. However I totally agree with you, premades should meet similarly sized other premades.
Same-faction battleground has been absolutely amazing. Ive finally been able to enjoy pvp with friends and guildies again. Most of my friends that enjoy pvp has started playing again. If you dont implement this change permanently I dont see TBCC lasting very long.
Worst thing ever made. Why Blizzard always choose the worst decision for any realization?
If you still have at least a drop of common sense and love for your game / respect for your players - u should remove this confusion and never remember.
especialy eots sometimes i gott 3 premades back to back and waste 3 hours of game time for 75 honor total. thank god gave us quick queues now
Amazing change, was able to PVP a lot of the weekend, had great matches and got tons of honour/badges. Don’t go back on this change!!!
its a joke. horde is superior bc of racials and instead of changing racials you screw those who love pvp and play alliance even more by telling them the problem isnt the racials…
EVERYONE knew about the long BG Qs for Horde even before classic server first opened. For my friends and myself, that was the only reason not to go for those OP racials…
and now youre like, yeah lets just fix it onesided, the root of the problem doesnt matter.
if youre already testing things… how about testing something actually good: dual spec
