I got it immediately after claiming it on twitch as well, max 5 minutes
I got mine as soon as I claimed it. Just logged in and logged out. Have you tried that?

It’s a work around and some of the following posts clarify various points.
It will need to be done today (which I believe is the last day) and you’ll need to do the 4 hours again.
Do you know if I can connect a new account despite just reconnecting my old one?
In other words, Account A was linked and I received no mount, so I disconnected it and reconnected it with no 7 day cooldown.
Will I now have a 7 day cooldown for linking Account B? I don’t want to disconnect if I now have a 7 day cooldown from reconnecting the exact same account (Account A) in the last day.
Apparently there is no cooldown if you re-connect with your old twitch. I just connected a brand new one since this is the last day to get the mount. I’m desperate 
If you connect a totally different account, that will trigger the 7 days cooldown.
Did you try reconnecting your old twitch first before connecting a new one?
Yes, and it just worked fine ^^
Same, took literally a second or two for then toast to appear in game.
