Low keys Feral is bad when the rest of the group is good or overgeared.
Higher keys Feral can shine.

For me personally Ferral is one of the more challenging specs to do right, its high speed combined with lots of micromanagement, pulling off a perfect run with my favorite build is hard for me⌠maybe i am trying to overarchieveâŚ
I love to PvP the kitten tough, where it strangely is much more forgiving then in high end PvEâŚ

Feral is not bad at all, its just that his rotation requires A LOT more effort compared to other DPS specs to be competetive, you must sweat 3x more as a feral to have the same dps or slightly lower than a barely awake DH for example. Also mistakes in your rotation heavily impact your dps so its not as forgiving as other specs. All in all, if you invest the time and master the spec, you can perform good everywhere, and even at your best you still wont be top tier.

i 100% agree with you. Feral players are those people who are staying up late studying logs on what can they improve since screwing up 1 thing in rotation can cost you a huge dps loss or looking on wowanalyzer what mistakes they do if they open right , if they managed their energy correctly etc and yes people say go balance cause of the utility , tbh with you feral has more utility than balance druid only thing that balance has is beam feral has skull bash faster interupt but not aoe ,feral has is 2 stuns maim and bash or u can spec into mass roots or typhoon ,but what balance does not have is stampeding roar , its really good if u got a rogue in your group with feral speed buff on shroud parts while boomy has none . Feral has soothe and hibrinate aswell , you want feral to aoe? go Primal wrath build with blood of the enemy even stronger than boomy aoe , st? spec into sabertooth brutal slash and blood talons with Consisted life force and there you have it.

Itâs not bad but feral has been trash for so long itâs reputation is awful. With 434 of ilvl nobody accepts me to +7 or beyond because âare you balance or feral?ââŚ

It happened once or twice that i said balance, joined a group and stayed in moonkin form until they started the key. Then swapped into my jungle kitty form and let them think whatever they want, only until the first few packs/bosses where they fell behind on the dps meter. 
I only do keys 10-12 keys tho.
It was (or maybe is still) same with Shadow Priests. I played Shadow on BfA season 1 and even though I had completed everything on 13 or higher I couldnât get an invite to a +10. There are just so many people playing these few specs that just dont want to put any effort into the game and thus tarnish the reputation of the spec.

the problem is this method and meta players yes men and these big youtubers not even mentioning feral when feral can outdps warriors and dhs it is ridiculous.
i hate how the community is so blind, only promoting rogues ,dhs and other meta trash i cba to mention

While every other fury or dh shine maybe like 1 from 100 ferals shine, and why risk that in pug?
Same applies here, also most groups run 2melee1ranged for a reason⌠And why risking random priest when u can get random mage

Its was to poimt out why u cant get into +10 even if u did 13 or so and didnt want to quote it whole and write same thing twice.
But problem is there is like half of specs that are having hard time geting into m+, because of meta that totaly matters in 10-12range⌠-_-

So if Iâm understanding this right, people argue that an equally geared and skilled player on any other dps class would do better. How the F can anyone possibly know this on a pull by pull basis? This isnât perfecto world where you KNOW for a fact that others are playing on top form with 2ms in BiS gear. I play with many so called meta specs every day. Most are mediocre, some are good, some are terrible and some are friends that have great attitudes but just arenât the best players or geared out the a$$. Just because a class is MDI flavour of the season wonât make YOU good at it.
Play what the hell you want. If you love the theme, youâll get there. I have no horse in this race - tank for life - but Iâll happily play with any spec dps and deal with the good and the bad.
