Flying means we can never have a big continent again

Even if this is true for me it’s flying >>>>> bigger maps anyways.

We couldn’t? Didn’t we used to get flying at 60 (start of BC)? Or am I remembering it wrong?

No flying made sense before flying was introduced at all. The playerbase have had a taste of it for almost 17 years and I feel that any attempt to hinder that (pathfinder, flying unlocked several months into the expansion etc) is just annoying instead of exciting.

I was really pleasantly surprised when Dragonriding opened up just a few quests into the startingzone. Really good change.

Flying unlocked at level 70 (max level) in TBC and it only worked in TBC zones.

I disagree. I remember joining in 2010 and was exploring EK. Somewhere about Booty Bay is an area you cant fly into. Originally if you tried you would be dismounted and fall to your death. Today you just hit an invisible wall.

I do agree developing a continent such as EK would take time but areas you can’t access will just block you by the invisible wall until its ready to be used.

I dont think flying makes any difference to the size of the continents in an expansion.
Given that Azeroth is mostly ocean they will do what they have done in the past and set an expansion in an ‘undiscovered’ continent that has suddenly appeared for…reasons.
Can make them any size you want really!
