And is it the only cool thing in the game? Even if I dont have them myself. I dont mind other people having it as a memento from “I was there back then”…even though I also was there as well but didn’t bother to go get them.

I would actually love more color variations and hairstyles and being able to customize my character a bit more with various things. Letting people express themselves is good. Letting people have access to things is good. I wouldn’t mind that these skins were still challenging to get, if they were still available, expecially the druid forms since there’s a limited amount of them available. Another thing from my wishlist is being able to pick the druid skins on the fly without having to go to the barber ^^ I already have the Mage Tower druid skins, I’m not throwing a tantrum, I’m telling how I experience other people feeling when they see my existing skins and how it’s not fair that they’re completely unobtainable for new players or ones that couldn’t be there for the time. I don’t mind the Ahead of the curve mounts being only for those that got it at the time, I see the value of some things being unobtainable, but Mage tower wasn’t very accessible, you could only do it during set times that were very irregular and if it was up you still needed currency to enter so you also had limitied tries. In the end of Legion i was devoting all my time when it was available and when i had the time into trying to get more of them. Many of the specs were very reliant on having certain legendaries and if you were unlucky you didn’t get those until the end. These are very cool looking skins and i still use them today but i don’t feel the need to keep them from other players, and when other players admire them and ask where i got them i get sad that they will never be able to obtain them instead of feeling this prestige that other veterans seem to feel. Prestige should come from challenge and not time limited fomo items. That ghost kitty from mage tower is my favorite skin, i love the way it looks, i love the colors (wouldn’t mind more color variations). I know people are saying fire kitty, but it doesn’t have the same feel to it and there aren’t that many druid forms out there for a class where 50-75% of the specs spends 90% of the time in forms, we are seriously in a drought for more forms, yeah dragonflight added some, but none of them had the vibrant ghosty feel to them. If they don’t want to add these back, atleast let us get something similar. Also I wish there were more flaming warglaives like the havoc MT ones ^^ Love the purple ones I have, would love more colors and for the handles to be different. Hell, I would love it if I could just dye my gear and customize my look like in FFXIV or GW2 so I have more options of matching it to my style. The color palette and art style has completely changed since vanilla and it feels off trying to match the colors, like i love these pants but the colors are different from this chestpiece I want to match with it and don’t get me started on the lack of options for shoes that aren’t bulky and tripling the size of your legs… -.- But that’s off topic, I just want the fomo gone and them to add better ways of keeping it prestigious, it doesn’t have to be with the legion remix, just give us an option to obtain it somehow in the future and acknowledge that you see where we’re coming from. I’m glad I was there and managed to get most of the things I wanted from MT but I also see how new or returning players feel when they realize it’s gone forever and they’ll never get this cool cosmetic just because they weren’t old enough to play wow, had a health thing in that specific timeframe, had to take care of their kids in a hard time and couldn’t focus on the game or other various things that could have happened. Imagine battling cancer and coming back to the game and this thing that you really like is completely gone and now multiply that with 20 years of items that are now unable to be obtained. I just want the FOMO gone, not the prestige. Create different ways to earn these rewards. Sorry for the rambling back and forth, I have cognitive issues that make it difficult to orientate my thoughts.

Indeed. Its a video game and people should stop fusing about pixels.
Especially since those pixels wont exist for ever. I am not doomsaying but I am also not expecting WoW to be around my retirement age either(currently in my early 30s).

easy my friend started playing this expansion and guess what the most head turning wepons are both the challenge mode wepons and the mage tower wepons (he plays lock) 2 “pixels” caught his mind the polearm from draenor (he found out about the pet glyph) and the affliction mage tower when i told him sadly both are unvailable his reaction wasnt omgd that guy is so dope and “PRESTIGIOUS” its was instead that sucks mixed with confusion and disappointment since he undertands rio but not challenge modes and also the mage tower is currently in the game,we told him there was a chance with remix coming back.
if instead of time locked items we had them behind grinds the reaction would perhaps be crap that guy actually di smthg hard and i want to try it myself.
If theres alredy so many pixels why does blizzard keep doing more?

If the said guy was ready to jump ship because of 2 weapon transmogs then he would be have left wow for other reasons anyway.
If I said that I didnt want to play GTA V because 1 specific car model was not in it. Then even a 3 year old would see that I simply dont want to play GTA V in general and are using some flimsy excuse to hide behind.
Which dillutes the pool even more. Add a few more expansions in and your “new players” wont even notice the missing 1-2 wep transmogs in their huge ocean of wep transmogs…
everything should be obtainable through grind or luck, or both.

no he did not in fact jump ship its his second season he pushed 2500 rio in the first month of s1 got curve with our guild is currently pushing 3k rio the more he understands about the game the more ridiculous this entire FOMO argument sounds.

First dont compare apples to oranges. Classic exists in a practical isolation from retail. In a sense. So classic existing has no bearing on retail people hence I dont care about it. This transmog argument, affects everyone on retail, both who agree to have it back and disagree.
So unless you are advocating for Blizz to add a seperate isolated realm where mage tower is available and people can go there and enjoy their mage appearances completely isolated from others then…uhm sure? Yeah. Go for it. Have fun?
I am already well entertained with your…arguments. Keeps the boring work shift… a little less boring. 
The reason he brought up classic is because of Blizzards comments of “You think you want it, but you don’t”. I have most of the MT skins already, I have the druid forms, any skins i don’t have were skins i didn’t really care about and had to put on the back burner because i didn’t have enough time. I want them to add a way for newer players to earn the skins. When i get asked about my feral druid form or my flaming warglaives from MT i don’t feel prestige, I feel bad about having to tell them they will never be able to get them. That just demotivates and when things they can’t obtain starts to add up the resentment starts adding up. Just make things obtainable, not free but still there. On the other hand, I wish they would add more skins that meet the same kinda standard. The colors, the designs, they were superior to majority of things you can earn from raids these days. And for expecially druids, having some of the forms being locked behind unavailable content just feels bad, their transmog doesn’t show, mounts don’t matter to them, we need more druid forms available and i also wish my favorite races would be able to be druids instead of only being locked to certain ones -.- if worgens could learn from night elves, it doesn’t make sense to keep it locked anymore.

its quite easy to tell there has been massive back lash from this change easily checked by looking at the multitude of forum posts both on the us and eu forums also the reddit posts youtube vidoes and twitter posts
i brought up classic due to the events that took place after the “you think you do but you dont” stuff at blizzcon the community voiced their opinions and blizzard listened.
i didnt read the post above didnt even had to correct you apparently
