Nah, Blizzard just monitored situation in this experiment and they cut free transfers just when there were still enough capacity for payed transfers to Gehennas. Now people will hurry and buy transfers before realm is closed like Firemaw.

You just completely ignored my points and went on with your agenda. Let me repeat. I played on even bigger server and it died. 5-8k players is fine - unless it dies. Gotta keep transfer revenue turning.
