Free character transfer

i attemted to transfer my alliance chars from ashbringer to mograine, and its asking me to pay, is this normal? the faq from blizz’s site says this should not be the case, and the free transfers for my faction were announced by blizz 2 days ago

I think, you must have misread that. There isvfree transfers to Ashbringer, not from it.

Why would Blizzard let you move to a locked realm?

Updated 15 September Free Character Transfers to Mograine are now available for Alliance characters only, shouldnt this mean that i can transfer there as ally?
edit: ahh ffs, i just looked at the table, so nothing is done to salvage ashbringer, terrible play from blizz once again (ashbringer has less than 100 active alliance and 0 hordes)
