Yeah very epic.
Blizzard can’t do anything without people complaining, can they? They’re letting the community pick a free mount and it still somehow upsets people.

But the tree is also acceptable.
They can’t put the rest on the store if they give you a choice.
The way OP is throwing a tantrum he clearly is around the age of 12-14 years. We get a free mount, so everyone wins. There’s already enough mounts in the game (and more coming in SL) for you to choose from.
Also: “iT’s ePiC!8!!” as you stated with much detail, is purely subjective.
I.e: YOU think so. It seems a LOT of people think the tree is better. So deal with it.

Well, 65% of the players dont want it, so 2/3 of the playerbase is not happy.
I think when you´re doing a poll and only 1/3 of your playerbase is pleased it´s not the best thing.
On other topics y´all shout “most players want a change for insert ingame topic”, but now when 2/3 of the playerbase dont likes the Ancient, their voices are now “Waaa waaa baby noises”?
This mount wont be touched by 2/3 of the playerbase since they dont like it

Yes but in fairness, nobody has seen the others either, so that point is moot.
U want them to develope and Create 5 individual Mounts test them all ready for release and get them into the game. to utilise one per char

But the other mounts are all at 18% of the votes (or 13% for the nerubian). What would the alternative be? Somehow go for the less popular option and have 4/5th of the playerbase ‘unhappy’?
I also don’t think it’s fair to say 2/3rd of the playerbase won’t use it because they don’t like it. I personally voted for the tree, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like the others. I also like the book and probably cat, I just think the tree is cooler. If another mount wins I would still use it.

You need to learn how to read polls.
Those 2/3 of the voters did not prefer it as their first choice, not that they hate it or would not be happy with it.
In fact I, myself, voted for the book, though I am perfectly fine with the Ancient. I just preferred the book as my first choice.
On a side note, I dislike the idea of a slime cat as a mount.

I by myself am an Caterpillar fan, but would be fine with the swarmer or the cat. But the Ancient and a Book … not my stuff.
If the cat won and I didn’t like the cat, i wouldn’t use it.
I would still never be spiteful of other people’s choices. That very thought wouldn’t even enter my mind.
