Silences/Dispels are counters to both, but alas we think everything is instant and can be reapplied the second you were to dispel anything. Classic brain.

That’s delusional af, in theory you can dispel that FS and then it’s not a crit anymore. And melee, especially rogues are simply busted and shut your existence down.
To pull off a SWD kill, any hardcast like MB/MS/MF had to be done, things where you can kick the priest and they are target dummies for 10s.
And if you kick Starfire it’s basically no Starsurge for a while, GGWP.

The only real thing to be nerfed and that is very long overdue are Rogues Mutilate, Rogues Between the Eyes, Rogues Quick Draw, Rogues Shadowstep and the melee hunter raptor strike clownfiesta. Forgot the fact that Mage Living Flame visual also needs to be fixed, the effect is way bigger than the actual visual effect.

Fixing priests needs to be a priority; rogues, hunters and shamans are a non-issue in comparison.

too bad sp and boomies have been “fixed”, now its rogues/melee hunters turn to be “fixed”.

Actuallt frequent balancing reduxes fotms the reason players reroll fotm is because they dont forsee their class being balanced for extended periods of time. So roll the strongest thing.

Its ironically only a irritant for fotm rerollers, because their the ones chasing patch to patch and staring at numbers.

Continously buffing upwards, woulsnt leave a game to play by the end of it. U cant just endlessly power creep the game…

We would hit a point where its litterally a big red button and whoever presses first wins lol, there wouldnt be any gameplay.

Because the 5 over tuned classes are one shotting. And to bring 4 more uptoo 1 shotting to equalise this is toxic.

No class should be one shotting each other full stop. Lol

We arent talking about 5 classes doing 100 more dmg on their skilsl, we are talking about classes hitting for 2k dmg at level 40…

No. Add counterplay opportunities. I wrote this in OP, but phone and pc are on different accounts… but what would happen if, for example, paladins got a x% chance to get an absorb shield for x% of dmg dealt when being hit with a ranged critical strike? Or if they added the silence to shield of vengeance.
Or if rogues got their crimson vial. Or cloak of shadows.
What if warriors got their spell reflect.

It seems to me most of the crying is about melee being at a disadvantage against ranged classes. Their dmg is fine. Warriors are among the strongest dps classes atm.

But all these suggestions are just more retail abilities. What if they went for something brand new?
What if they made starsurge hit as hard as it used to at 20 yd range, then did less dmg the farther away from the target they were?
What if they just put a restriction on shadow word death that its only usable on targets below x% health?

Or what if they just buffed the health of every class in the game?
Might make gnomeregan too easy, but what if they added a debuff to the raid… for example… radiation sickness. Reduces maximum health by x%, x being the value they buffed player health with?

My point is that there are a lot of ways to potentially fix this. Nerfs suck. It sucks to have your spec nerfed. This is season of discovery. They should try to discover another way of balancing things.

Warrior damage is NOT fine in PVP. I’m doing 350 MS non crits with epic 2 handed weapon, meanwhile hunter off hand with 1 handed weapon is doing 400+ with raptor strike, absolute joke.

I dont mean to be rude, but could this be a skill issue? Build or itemization? Asking because I dont know warrior. But I know they are beasts in pve.

So the danage is there. What would you like to see that would help you do dmg in pvp?

warriors do only good damage in pve because of WF, sunders/homunculus and any other buffs.
Their damage in pvp is below average. MS hitting 250, like rogues mutilate offhand or void plague tick

I’ve played warrior since several months before TBC pre patch (August 2006 to be precise), by the time I’m level 60 on my SOD warrior it will be the 5th warrior I’ve leveled to 60. I’m a veteran warrior, it’s definitely not a “skill issue” or build or itemization because many warriors have the exact same complaint.

Blizzard needs to stop nerfing classes for PVP damage while hurting PVE performance. Just reduce player on player damage. Also do some testing so you don’t have give people power and then taking it away. That was something learned over and over and over again with so many expansions.

Notice how there were 2 questions in that post, but you completely ignored the second one, which asked what you would like to see changed to make warriors better in pvp, and focused only on the one that let you complain.

They will be doing less dps, but not by much. SWD needed a nerf tho.
