Not griefing. But as I said I’m against making this event longer.
You are entitled to your opinion. I will not change mine. If you prevent people from starting an expansion you are griefing. It is not griefing that will be actioned by Blizzard but none the less every time someone explodes on a boss denying people loot they are doing it with the pure intent of griefing others.
I personally do not care about zombie invasions of cities (bar the SL launch). They are just fun events.
If and only if they wanted they could make it a ghoul free zone anyway. And I agree that it would be griefing in that case but your wording was confusing as you said “it has to stop” implying it was already going on. But then again this event was fun for a while but got kind of boring with time especially with how weak the ghouls are so no point making it longer
The event will be gone to prevent the griefing. I’m actually really glad they’ve responded to the stress test feedback.
Wasn’t it supposed to be gone anyway? What do you mean by stress test feedback ?
We had a stress test to mimic launch on beta. During that beta launch it was possible to infect people and turn them into zombies and prevent them from starting Shadowlands. They are not allowing that now on live and everything will be removed in advance. The griefers will have to mourn the loss of their tools.
So where are all those whining sods who keep telling us that new players hate this event?
I see I wasn’t on the beta only on the PTR so that makes sense. And yeah I agree that it probably wasn’t a very good idea to have the ghoul event at launch , not only because of players but because of stability issues due to the amount of ghouls
I must say I’d like it to come as an event every now and then (like one day every or every second month).
I agree the zombies are way too weak this time around. Only effective strat is at least 20 man raid on portal room, because in trade district you fight an army of guards.
it should be PERMANENT.
it allows us players to deal with bots by killing them!
