See Kump I have zero actual intentions of spoiling your fun or of anyone else participating in it, everything I wrote backs that up, even the OP.
I was not aware of the passive issues that come along with influx of more people on the realm, my understanding was limited to people spoiling the events with Mammoth mount running around etc.
This thread spiraled out of control because of bs, salt and provocations to which I started responding (probably shouldn’t have) but yeah trolls started having a field day because they believe it will what oppress the OOC side of the realm idk.
Anyhow, friends are raiding here aswell and we had nothing but good experience here on this realm (when it comes to pve progress and general guild health)
And none of the people in the guild caused any harm here (even tho I am not a GM can vouch for every single one of them)
Regarding the roleplaying, not my thing sorry people in the guild do tabletop rpgs and such but thats not my thing really.
Sorry, but I classify a realm for its tag and AD tag is RP not normal or pve, not by raid proggress, not sure where you get the idea a realm is define by raid proggress and not it’s actual tag.
Also
Hmmm… This seemed a realm more fitting of your guild, so why not go where instead of the last rp realm if you’re not going to partake in the realm porpuse. ( and the realm purpose is not raiding, it’s the tag that matter the most, not wowprogress like you seem to think.)
Tag Blizzard added or even wowprogress does not determine what kind of a realm this is.
What determines it is the population on it and their interests.
So if you have at least the same amount of people strictly interested into raiding (which is the case here) as you have people in roleplaying one side no longer reserves the right to govern the realm or set the rules of it.
You must co-exist.
(Assuming obviously we cut the trolls out of the equation)
Yes, and then they and their interests get mocked by other people cuz they feel superior because “lol this” not caring about the realm theme ( like you), they want to be top raiders ok, but either go to a normal realm or partake in the realm theme while also raiding, I ask again, if you have no intention of partaking in the realm theme why roll an alt on it. (Wowprogress means nothing so this answer won’t cut it.)
Tag was placed when realm was created, AD now and in Vanilla or whenever it was made looks very much different, person saying otherwise is either lying or delusional.
So again as time went on this realm became a PVE raiding realm with a strong raiding scene that attracts players with similar interests.
Where we stand now population is divided and you have two different kinds of people one minding their own business and doing what they enjoy/want out of the game and others protesting constantly and refusing to co-exist.
This whole soap opera is a living proof of what I am telling to you, things wont change more raiders will join the realm just as more roleplayers will join the realm as well.
If you are not ok with co-existing then its a you problem, again I am not talking about people purposely ruining the game for others.
Oh I care about the realm theme I am interested in on AD while also not harboring any negative options or feelings towards the other side of AD (roleplaying). The same I expect from others as well.
We are on this realm because of its PVE nature, Ravencrest and Silvermoon are plagued by guild hopping, having a stable roster there is impossible, rosters change completely three times during the expansion easy. Our guild philosophy aint like that, because we dont see guild as a ladder you climb.
Okay i have been following this thread and i do see both sides of the argument but let me ask this. What if AD was taken over by so many PvE guilds wanting to raid and RP died on this realm? This would be a sad thing to happen seeing as there are so many PvE realms out there.
I imagine Astrograph doesn’t care about that. Would probably revel in it as well.
Personally? I still Roleplay from time to time and I’d rather not see the server die off because some people like to think of it as “One of the biggest PvE raiding servers”.
It would be sad indeed, no one sane would want that anyways.
I explained it multiple times over and over again, fair to assume you are trying to troll.
People on the realm determine what realm is, again case of co-existing refusal.
I actually thought you stopped trolling but guess not, my guild does not partake in RP thereby it does not contribute to it but also does not take away anything from it !
Stop pretending this is a full on RP realm and acknowledge thousands of ppl playing on AD which do not share same interests as you.
Re-read what I said: I said that I imagine that you don’t care, a lot different than flat out saying “Oh, Astrograph doesn’t care”. Not hard to think that when you seem to have contempt and keep trying to state that the server is in fact a PvE server with a bit of Roleplay on it, rather than a Roleplay server with a PvE scene on it, and saying “Nuh-uh!” doesn’t make you any more right.
I know, plenty of those said people often come to rp scenes with their mamots and cloud serpents and spamm chat making it impossible for folk like to to do their hobbies, so why must I coexist with them, if they are not here not only to not partake in the realm theme, but make a laughing stock out of it?
Yeah 5 people writing here and circlejerking opposed to hard facts.
What gave you this impression Aibury? I have stated many times that realm is divided and that co-existing is a must for healthy realm future.
Sadly there is no way around that, that is the case unfortunately. Its a two way thing tho, just as those jerks like to rain down on your parade some people here chose to kidnap this thread and turn it into what it is now an ABOMINATION.
I had no desire for it to be like this, I merely posted the advertisement on realm where people are interested in our services and some felt compelled by cosmic force to go hard on it, just as jerks ruin your RP events.
Even now people refuse to actually talk normally for whatever reason.
