[FTL ] - fresh rebuild focusing on strong social aspect with aims for AotC - 8/8HC

Good day community,

I have made the decision to try and bring back FTL from the dead in hopes of adding new positive memories. It’s a guild with many AotC dating back to 2017 and I would love to add more.

This is an absolutely new rebuild, which means it’s starting from nothing so time and patience is essential. We want a strong social aspect, active chat and discord. No elitism or toxicity, no false expectations to be given so we can avoid future confusion.

I would love to have some likeminded players with me to share this journey, in a calm and slower pace. Where the rush mentality is non existent. Right now the roster is very small and activity low as expected, but I know that with the right foundations and understanding, we can build something special.

Aims

  • Raids will be Thursday and Sunday 20:00-22:30 server
  • You pick what you want to play, we will make it work
  • This is a process that needs time and patience, expect a rough couple of weeks while we recruit
  • We will gain AotC at a steady and calm pace
  • We will maintain a toxic free atmosphere, drama will be dealt with
  • Use your experience to help others, be a team player

There is so much more to chat about but the basics are listed. We understand that there are many guilds here doing similar aims with different times so we feel that we perhaps have something to offer.

Current needs for the future raid team:

Currently 7/8 heroic.

Our past

We were active from mid Legion (2017) until mid SL but had to close the guild due to lack of recruitment on our former server (SL content played a major part in this). During this time we happily curved our way through multiple tiers all while maintaining an open and inclusive atmosphere. We specifically recruited a mix of experienced and newer players in order to build raid teams as we believed that all players should have the opportunity and platform to try end game. We were successful in this aspect, outside of raids we gathered members for keys aplenty, fun events such as mount achievements and various other fun content.

Since we split, we eventually headed in separate directions whether server change or even stepping away from the game entirely. Some of us tried various guilds but always found disappointment when those guilds never delivered what they promised, friendly atmosphere, no cliques and so on. We even looked at possibly getting something on Stormscale but the server seemed to be slow on recruitment and some who contacted us even questioned why that server. We dug deeper and focused on the full populations, everything pointed towards Silvermoon.

I would like to add another officer to the team who has raid leader experience so if interested, please reach out for a conversation.

Had some wonderful conversations with interested players, completely transparent on our aims and time frame.

We would love to see more contact us regardless of your experience or skill levels. Also still looking to add another officer who has raid leader experience.

Looking to start the process of building a raid team for the near future, which takes time of course. In the meantime we will focus on running group content to allow all to benefit from the weekly vault.

This is a calm place where all who log in can feel no pressure, you play how you want without the go go go mentality. Obviously raiding needs more attention to your character which is the only real difference.

Good day to all,

We are currently building up a raid list for the future team, hoping to venture into raiding next reset if possible. We are currently open for all roles so first come first served on key roles.

We’ve been slowly adding faces to the guild but will now hit recruitment much much harder in order to heighten the activity. Yes it is a little quiet, but this is always the case with new or rebuilding guilds so some patience is essential.

We are still looking to add some friendly faces to our small roster. Do you fit the criteria:

  • Are you looking to build new friendships

  • Wanting to group up with guildies as often as possible

  • To be part of the rebuild from the start

  • Try some relaxed raiding on a short schedule

  • Flourish in a non pressured environment

Everything above is still relevant. We have a few more members which is awesome but space is still available for more. Taking our time to find the right folks that fit our mentality.

This is a safe haven for all players so if you suffer from anxiety or mental illness such as ADHD or Autism then you are welcome here :slight_smile:

I want to say a massive thank you to those who have contacted us regarding the guild, even if you chose not to join. Super happy to always chat and the door remains open for you.

We lack players who want to main the tank role in both raids and group content, so to add that would be awesome! A 3rd healer for the raid team may be possible depending on how many more DPS we get.

We currently lack a Priest, Shaman and Evoker. All classes remain open however.

Good day all,

Activity is up and groups are forming each evening. We took several of our newer players into their first mythic key last night and it was a very enjoyable experience. Getting to be on discord and talk to new members has been awesome :sunglasses:

We are edging closer to a full raid team but we lack a 2nd tank as priority, a couple DPS would also be great. All classes are open.

First raid will be Sunday, only lacking a 2nd tank. This is a full time spot that we’d love to have sorted.

Outside of that we’re in a great place with plenty of activity.

First guild venture into Nerub’Ar Palace last night, with 6 bosses down in less than 2 hours. This is with a team who have never raided together and in several cases, never raided ever. So we’re very positive about the future of the team.

We very much lack a 2nd tank so if you are looking to play that role and would like a calm, no stress environment to do it in then reach out to me.

Going for our second raid tonight and very much looking forward to it. We still have some space for DPS in the team, you’d be joining a very friendly team with a relaxed mindset but fully capable of killing bosses.

Social spots always open for those who enjoy a bit of keys and delves. We also love that side of the game.

Worked very well as a team last night to get Silken Court down, final pull of the night too! Super happy :blush:

We definitely would love to add Priest, DH and Warlock to the team as priority. All other classes welcome.

Had a fantastic night in the raid, went from 7/8 normal to 3/8 heroic in 2 hours.

It’s a big indicator of how far we have come in a very short period together. Super happy for the progress especially as some in the team are experiencing raids for the first time.

We run normal 1 last time next reset and focus on heroic after. Big moments ahead for the guild but ultimately, fantastic vibes throughout.
