Feels bit squishy too compared to multiple other specs. Sustain dmg is high atleast for something like 3v3 or blitz but m+ I imagine target cap will be problem. I mostly hit 2-5 ppl max in pvp so my only concern is how dependant the spec is on heals due how squishy it is in current meta that even mm will hit you harder on plate than you can hit cloth.
Oke noted do not invite 5 targeted capped AOE dps, invite the demo warlock instead and do super big pulls.
No it was added back in BFA, after blizzard seeing that m+ was just tank pulling half the dungeons, kiting for all eternity, and the dps aoeing everything down. Also enhancement back then was never played because of lack of any aoe and dying when mobs looked at you funny.
If that is your problem I think you misunderstood the assignment.
When tanks pull 15 mobs, 13 of those are gonna die in 20 seconds from the aoe classes. The other 2 mobs will be left with 60% health. Your job as a warrior is not to do big aoe, but to focus those 2 mobs down, so that everything dies together.
Some classes need them though. they’d be too strong otherwise. It’s all about balancing
Cries in enha.
I saw they gave it long list of buffs last reset for pvp atleast. Havent seen as long list of buffs for one class in a while for single patch. Could take it for a spin in shuffles or blitz and give it a try, if nothing else.
There are successful M+ group compositions that center around consistent melee DPS and chain pulling around 5 mobs constantly.

: Sha’s Brewmaster with double warrior group.
only invite if they are vulpera
if you dont mind me asking .what is your rank in pvp ? i am on fence if i should give pvp a try and if it is worth getting my boots wet playing it
The general rule of thumb that I have followed since WotLK is based on the raiding gearing paradigm, where one was expected to have the majority of their equipment from the previous tier before attempting the current tier while having full enchants, gems and consumables. Roughly speaking numerically, that’s between -13 and -20 ilvl from what the content that is being attempted drops.
Case in point, since M+10 and above drop 655 from the dungeon itself and 662 from the Vault, then 635 average item level is what I’d consider the minimum for the average player that wants a challenge and not to breeze through. Of course we have the issue that M+ becomes harder and harder above +10 without the rewards going up. In this case one has to do a study to present how much more demanding it is in terms of dps from the damage dealers, hps from the healer and damage mitigation from the tank, and convert that to item level increase to counter it.
Now when I say “more than 5 enemies”, I imply elite enemies, not non-elite ones.
If Blizzard hadn’t designed content to be AoE-fests, there wouldn’t even need to be an AoE cap.
I said in another post that fury runs one of the highest keys currently. But arms is statistically better. So tell me: why should invite a fury warrior when I can wait for an equally skilled arms warrior?
Those have lost a lot meaning with seasons varying too much. I would say play for fun or for mogs if wish to play and not care too much of rating. Ratings vary too much between seasons from inflations and balance issues. I play bunch of specs from dps to heal, will get the elite rank for season from just playing.
Blizzard also combined arenas ranks to be obtainable from soloqs like shuffles and blitz now, last season people were going over 3k ratings in blitz with 1.6 highest from past in arenas and getting the elite achievements with it so those are all free now. I would say its worth to give blitz a try if interested on starting pvp and gaining tmogs and so on.
You can inspect people from site called check pvp to see their arena, shuffle, blitz, talents etc. Murlok. io is site you can look for top 50 peoples talents and the like for guidance. If you can stomach the que times give it a try
You mean statistically because more people play them (this can have a variety of reasons. For instance ret was and still is beyond popular because its faceroll and keeping up their equivalent of Breath of Sindragosa (divine hammer) in a key isnt an issue, but they fell off in higher keys last season and will likely do so again in the coming weeks maybe).
From what I can see at the highest rating its around equal (with Noxiv being the highest warrior atm, as fury). The other warriors also occasionally dip into Fury from what I can see (Farover in particular). So it ultimately boils down to does your setup/dungeon prefer a fury or arms and do you have the luxury to wait for an arms of the same or superior skill. If you have the luxury you may as well just wait for the meta team itself to pop up on your invite screen.
Also wouldnt be surprised if the top dogs are still testing stuff because they are still around 10 ilvl away from the cap.
nice, my warrior is of course a vulpera.
They were largely removed until df
5 target cap on itself wouldn’t be too bad if the specs with that cap perform better than 8 to uncapped when a group of 5 is pulled. That is often not case.
In general 5 cap does feel bad. Maybe 8 cap minimum makes it better (and would also help the current fury situation)
On behalf of all fury warriors and what I gather from reading this topic I would like to take this opportunity and say, stop the cap
Cappydy cap cap
