Having same issue for months. It triggers when i open transmog mount, mount panel, character interface. And when there is an assault, or talking npc panel at bottom of screen. Its frustrating. And worst happened today. After 5 freezing one after another in 2 minutes it gave this error “Unable to start up 3D acceleration” and game closed. Better then forcing me to reset. When will they fix this ?

By the day shadowland releases, this problem will still exist. i don’t even know why. i really hate this game right now.
Same kind of problems here. Crashes the entire PC sometimes. Really disheartening to see this problem rear it’s head again.
Same problem here, random freezes still in 9.0, sometimes hours without them, sometimes some of them in few minutes. Direct X 11 Legacy seems to help a bit, but with a loss of performance and the problem persists. I tried everything else, plz try to fix it T.T

I have the Same Problem. If i Installed on my SSD. And i get a Freeze for 10 Sec, And the game get a Bug no Mouse no Sound or No Models. If i installed on HDD… I dont have this Bugs or a Freeze… Blizzard its your Problem in your Source Code´s. Failed Recoures Share. I have M.2 SSD Samsung EVO, GTX 1070 I5 9th.

Hello all, I am also having these issues you are discussing, same situation, installed on SSD, game freezes pc randomly. I am not sure if this is a “fix” or what is causing the issue, for the last few days i have disabled “Projected Textures” and am yet to have a crash. The annoying thing is now during M+ or the maw or raids i cannot see anything on the floor anymore BUT it seems my freezes are gone. Could someone else try this out and see if it does resolve the issue ?
