there arent enough cow farts to heat our countries sorry so it seems that way
T shirt and shorts - Be a man!
Same here, I also have the window open and a fan to move the air around.
Me and my computer enjoy it.
Summer is unbearable in the city I live and Iâm not used to itâs winter, so, Iâd say Autumn and Spring are the best to play games/be outside
France for example doesnât heat with cow farts, but nuclear power - isnât a better option and worse than gas, but not a cow fart.
The modern solution should be solar with a good heat pump. This works pretty well even in colder EU countries, but thatâs something the governments must a) support financially and b) enforce in the next 10-15 years.
Laughs in Mediterranean climate
The heck is that?
Oh yes me too!!. I love mine, what I need is the feet equivalent of an Oodie!!
I admit at first I was skeptical, they are quite pricey in their own right. Also despite transmogs being a large part of my life in Azeroth, in real life Iâm a casual hoodie and jeans kind of girl.
But this thing is immense, I canât sleep in it as it practically makes you pass out, but for everything else, itâs the business.
Last night at an RP session the sleeves were so big I leant of the keyboard and jumped two foot in the air!!, so laughs as well!!
Yes, a feet version would be nice.
My feet donât get warm in slippers either, they just get cold sweaty and gross.
remember this
when you vote for the first time, vote against anyone talking about saving the environment
they cant even keep the heat on, how they gonna save anything?
but more to the pointâŚitâs gaslighting (no pun intended)
Swedenâs environmentalists âwonâ when they shut down the nuclear reactor.
Now the south is paying record electricity prices, and theyâre importing dirty coal energy from other European countries.
What a win, am i right?
60% bleach 30% alcohol 10% potato
(vodka is potato right?, im not going crazy?)
Where i am its a balmy 11 degrees and some people are wearing their T-shirts. Colder air has sank more south than it should resulting in warmer air being forced north.
get a hot water bottle for your feet. once they are warm you wonât feel so much of a chill.
I can picture you sitting there singing in it LOL.
This sounds like a good idea.
Iâd need a big one, stick it on a towel to insulate it from the cold floor and put me feet on it.
Now to find one.
Iâm always wearing leggings under my trousers, fluffy socks over normal, fluffy boots and my Aldi knock off Oodie. Even when itâs summer (Hypothyroidism yay) but very fortunately, despite English gas bills being ridiculous, we can afford our heating.
I have a good heat pump and solar isnât a thing in winter in northern Sweden.
Making solar panels is horrible for the environment anyway and they donât last very long.
Now my dad in rural Pennsylvania, US, does fully off grid with solar electricity and wood for heat but his consumption is super low.
Thatâs not true. Solar panels arenât really âhorribleâ for the environment - in comparison to any other form of Energy production, neither âdonât they last very longâ.
We are talking 30 years + here and you can recycle them afterwards.
That not everything works well in zones that are âhostile to lifeâ by definition is another thing. I mean northern sweden isnât exactly the area where a civilization thrives and really not future proof.
We have a surplus of electricity here.
We sell excess to Finland and used to have some of the cheapest electricity in Europe.
Then the government decided this wasnât fair so they increased our prices. We canât send excess power south because of the infrastructure failures, and solar doesnât work where we have mostly cloudy, four hours or less days in winter.
Instead, we have hydro and wind, and the wind works excellently year round.
Solar panel manufacturing is just as gross as battery manufacturing. Not good at all.
The point with solar is that itâs cleaner (in production and long time costs) as
- gas
- nuclear
- coal
- wood
And itâs efficiency is way higher in the right zone.
You have never experienced a warm summer rain?
