Cataclysm is the expansion that highlighted the weakness of dungeon finder.
Because in cataclysm, dungeon required you to know what you’re doing, coordinate with your group, crowd control etc… a lot of wrath players quit in cataclysm facing unsurmountable difficulty

You are not “forced” to use the RDF with randoms though… Since it’s addition to WoW the optimal play has always been:
/g Hey guys, anyone need daily heroic? or,
/lfg LFM Daily heroic, need gear and a brain, might run more after.
Then you queue as a group… it’s illogical and a fallacy to state anyone is “forced” to use it, let alone play with undesirables.
Also, RDF applies to dungeons starting at level 15+, tell me how can you be undergeared for and “DEMANDING” to be carried through leveling content?

of course we would be FORCED to use RDF if it was in the game … when pool of available teammates shrinks to nothingness due to the tool, that itself makes manual PUG creation nigh impossible.

By that logic, you want undesirables to be in the pool of available players to select from, but you don’t want to play with them… So, the point is to reject them? Ignore them? /flex at them?
You point out the crux of the problem, in reverse, if every group, and every individual only wants the most optimal set up, how do you go from under-geared, to geared?
By you logic, the pool of groups and players available to them is shrunk… It cuts both ways.

not by shoving them down the throats of other people that want to have NOTHING to do with them … which is exactly the purpose of RDF - forcefully created groups in which you have absolutely no say who will or will not be put in with you …
method nr.1 : you get the gear required like those people that require it
method nr.2 : and hold on to your britches because its a wild one - … YOU MAKE YOUR OWN GROUP without those requirements …
just like noone is forcing you to join groups with “all reserved, pumpers only” aholes so does noone owe it to you to be grouped with you if your gear sucks…
go find a guild, get together few friends or even make a group with other low geared players …
but thats not what “we HAVE to have RDF crowd wants” … they want the retail cancer that will make theyr fresh boost green char to be carried through whatever they need on press of a button…
yes it indeed is … and its THEYR FAULT … again, why should someone who grinded his/her “behind” off during prepatch getting ready be FORCED to carry lazy leechers …

Come to Giantstalker-Eu, you can inspect me anytime, I leveled in full Brutal. You are far too fond of insulting people to be healthy to be around, or converse with. That being said.
Pre-patch is over, not everyone came back weeks or month before launch. Boost is not available on fresh realms either.

again, that is FALLACIOUS statement because if RDF was in the game everyone would be forced to use it…
neither of which is relevant in any way shape or form to the simple fact of people being able to CHOOSE who they party with.

I wasn’t taking it personally. My point was simply that not all people in favour of RDF (in may case 15-80 (non-heroic at minimum) are “lazy leechers”. You give off the impression that all in favour of it, are. Guess neither of us should be making assumptions.

that literally means the OP and many “we want RDF now” poster in this topic demand the RDF to “prevent gatekeeping” … which translates to green undergeared lazyasses wanting to be carried through content without people able to do anything about it.
no its not the ONLY reason why the RDF is BAD… one of the main ones but its “on topic” to this thread.

and still it doesnt entitle them to demand being welcomed in groups.
You’re not forced at all…You don’t want RDF and thus you don’t use it, because it’s not optimal to you, and that logic would go the same for every other person who feels the same…If you have guilds and friends to do this why how and why would you be forced…makes no sense bro
