Second day of 14 day quarantine following a Covid-19 outbreak at workā€¦

I work as a nurse at a local hospital and Iā€™m usually in the pandemic ward where we wear protective gear during all situations with patient contactā€¦

I was lent to another ward because they had a staffing crisis and a lot of patients.

Two days later when Iā€™m at work again Iā€™m sent back home, because theyā€™ve had an outbreak at the ward where I was helping out and 3 patients who were not isolated turned out to be positive for Covid-19.

And because I worked there for that one day, Iā€™m stuck at home.

To be fair though this is no oneā€™s faultā€¦ These 3 patients were asymptomatic carriers, no one, including themselves, knew they were infected.

Iā€™m just a bit annoyed at the situation, not any people in particular :slight_smile:

And donā€™t worry, my wife promised me a lot of housework so I wouldnā€™t get bored :laughing: Yay :expressionless:

Well, last Sunday the first things my body got was a shot of vodka, JƤgermeister and whiskey, in that exact same order.

My Festival group was sad that everything is cancelled, so we send videos of us taking shots in our group on Sunday morning. To at least keep the tradition alive :man_shrugging:
