A long team fight where is determined by who has more skill and good strategies, determine the outcome of a fight, that’s what I like about a balanced PvP rather than the simplicity of a player with a massive gear advantage, steamrolling an entire unit within seconds.

I stopped playing wow becouse of old gearing was to hard and slow. Now I am back to play because of better gearing system and soloq.
So your theory is not totally right.
If classes would be fun to play we even do not need gearing.
