Ah, can we stop to make jokes about is
But Steabra!
Runs towards at…
Toxic masculinity is just that. Masculinity that is toxic. Nothing wrong with masculinity in general, I wish people stopped misinterpreting feminist terms to further their own agendas.
Well then, there’s also such a term of “toxic femininity.”
Sylvanas stringing along Nathanos and the Forsaken?
If you like.
You’re such a pervert! (That’s a joke Blizz,. it’s not serious. So if someone flags me -> )
Ahh… the wonderful world of Azeroth
Where a Zandalari Troll Druid and a bit pervert Tauren Death Knight could find love…
Well this suddenly got weird. Leia over and out.
The thing is, femininity in general is not as proactive as masculinity, so it has less proclivity to hurt others - while masculinity, being proactive, has the potential to hurt both the man and others around him.
Toxic femininity would be more correctly termed self-destructive feminity, when a woman wilingly sacrifices her potential, her dreams and talents for the sake of being a proper lady. I know people like that.
Yeaaah… Im not quite sure where you getting with that.
Ship them… ship them ALL!
I whole-heartidly disagree. Toxic femininity is a thing and I’ve witnessed IRL. This beautiful lady explains it so eloquently.
I could argue about semantics and whether to call female-on-female bullying toxic feminity, as femininity does not depend on being deceitful as much as masculinity depends on being aggressive, so while the nature of female bullying (which indeed makes it more insidious) is influenced by femininity, the bullying itself is not.
But that’d be stupid because I would simply be complaining about nomenclature to prove my original point, without actually addressing the problem which is the hostility in female/female behaviour.
If it’s causing young people to kill themselves, it is toxic.
As this girl says, females can carry their toxic behaviors for years, whilst guys - have a fight, likely mates by the end of the week.
Women can just be as toxic as men. If we’re ridiculing men for being men, then your a sexist.
It’s toxic, it’s just its connection with femininity that is in question. The situations you described are affected by gender roles more indirectly than in case of toxic masculinity. Toxic masculinity is basically doing dangerous, antisocial and self-destructive things for the sake of appearing manly: women also do stupid things to appear feminine (high heels are a crime against humanity), but at least being a lady generally does not involve hurting other people.
Basically, the difference here is that female bullying is influenced by the rules of femininity, while male bullying is caused by masculinity. As an analogy, technology determines the weapons with which wars are fought, while territory and resources are the cause of wars.
But, yeah, however we name the problem, the problem exists - that goes for both toxic masculinity and what you term toxic femininity and I… well, I’ll just accept your nomenclature.
- This is borderline sexist
- Trying telling that to Rebecca Sedwick, Molly Spencer and the 15 year old boy (who’s name I can’t spell.) All targets of female bullying. All were hurt by females in one way or another.
Ironically, physical strength wasn’t apart of the situation. Seems rather…toxic, what these teens were going through…
In 99% of cases, men are the ones who are the brickworkers, the builders, the construction workers, the plumbers - the main ones who have been drafted into war. In many cases, doing jobs that puts their lives on the line.
To defend the family is the man. To protect women is something a man is born to do…some men don’t in some parts of the world, but feminists never comment on this. Blame the white man…
If a woman wants to wear high heels or do anything that does not appeal to the feminist cult, then she has every right to do so.
This isn’t what I “term.” This is basic fact.
You clearly appear to not want to admit that women can be vile, cruel and awful - especially when physical strength is taken out of the equation.
Which has nothing to do with men or masculinity. It might have done in years past, but news-flash - we live in the 21st century.
I don’t care about the personal sexual preferences of fictional characters and I wouldn’t want Blizzard to spend half a neurone in developing at any length, a story that tried to clarify anyone’s sexuality. Like, zero.
Rather they spend that time creating another ‘Get me some extra ten bear a***es’.
Not because I’m against any form of sexuality. I simply don’t care about it regarding characters in a videogame.
Toxic masculanity is actually a scholar term which is misrepresented by a lot of left wing feminist activits.
It is a reference to when Masculinity becomes the mindset of ownership and Violence such as controlling your loved ones with force, treating them no less than an object you own.
Though a lot of Branches of feminisn today seems to assume that Masculinity itself is just Toxic, which is incorrect.
They also deny the existens of feminine toxicity, which is also incorrect.
Feminism and its 15 branches + has become very hard over all to take serious with many of them no longer Seeking the original call of equality but rather surprimacy as a whole.
Some branches of the Ideology could even be called a sub- cult Religion at this Stage, so I must ask which Branch do you think is misrepresented ?
There are toxic behaviours, hurtful to themselves and others, emotionally and physically, that are associated with femininity, just as there are with masculinity. Who cares if it’s the same? No one has a problem understanding what is talked about. And really, the causes of the behaviour are neither relevant to that discussion, nor would I believe anyone here who claims to understand them.
Soooo… a proper couple is what you mean.
Rakeera and Kaja could pass.
Tehd and Marius are my favourite couple though… “Hey what we gonna do today lover?
“KILL DEMONS, like everyday”
